For the people that have played anytime from Nov 11-Dec 19th you willl recive the following for free:
- Halo 3 ODST Campaign
- H2A remastered multiplayer map “Relic”

Although im sure there are a lot of people that enjoyed the ODST campaign me not being one of them sorry. I feel like this is a bad apology gift 343i could do much better. I propose that we get 3 H2A remastered maps.
- Midship, Beaver Creek and I guess Relic even though they could choose a better like Turf or Gemini or even Terminal if they want a bigger map which cmon Terminal is pretty awesome.
I feel that Midship and Beaver Creek would benifit not only the halo community but 343i as well. Those two maps alone would make HCS tournaments more fun to watch, and they would open up more varity in the MCC multiplayer playlists. Plus I know those maps are halo fan favorites so they would be the perfect apology gift. I know there are people that like ODST but we dont really need it, and its not a Master Cheif campaign so it dosent really belong. I have suffered trying to play MCC almost every day its released and i feel like what 343i has planned as of now is a slap in the face. I truly belive my solution would make everyone who has gone through this failed launch much more happy. But thats just my opinon as a passionate Halo fan. Please everyone comment and post what you think of this idea so that your thoughts on this topic can be heard because it is an important one.

I’d honestly take a few more H2A DLC over ODST campaign. I don’t care that much about the Campaign.
Why midship it in everything. we shouldn’t have even gotten bloodgulch remade for the 60th time. they need to remake maps that are good but havent been remade a billion times
I think the compensation is decent. I believe the intention is to have most of the maps remade in Forge, possibly?
I like the compensation but would take Terminal or Backwash over Relic any day of the week!!
I would have been okay with 3 more maps instead of ODST. Had they done Turf, Terminal, and Relic I would be complete!

Hah! OP has a point. The Master Chief Collection is sort of redundant if they add ODST, because the title even suggests that the games revolve around the Master Chief and his story. 343i sort of missed the point of making Halo MCC if they were going to make ODST DLC content for it.

In their post they say that ODST was not in the scope of their planning. So no…It was never going to be DLC.
to me im happy what 343 is giving away

I think that they should bring back the Spectre for H2A multiplayer, and they should remake Headlong, Containment, and Ivory Tower. I see a Midship remake pointless because it’s going to be in Halo 5: Guardians, cough Regret and Truth cough (remade and remixed versions). Oh yea I almost forgot, PLEASE let us get out of the maps in anniversary!

I know that its gonna be remade in h5 but its a damn good map plus it would be good for future playlists because you play practically any game type on it. And it would make HCS tournments more enjoyable to watch.
