343Industries Forge A New Flame

First of all I love how your pointing out all the negatives but not putting in any positives makes you look biased as hell. First you gotta start with what makes Halo , Halo. What made Halo in the first place for MM was the fact everyone started out with the same loadouts and had to fight over map control they are bring this back and forces the skill gap to widen and to put more teamwork and coordination in with skill. Skill isnt based on wins or K/D skill is based on the accomplishments the soldiers on the battlefield are doing as their roles. Most people are good at straight up combat in all situation but we have others that play the support role the best and can get alot advantages
because of map lvl.
The ranking system in Halo has been questionable except in Halo 3 which was the most challenging but the reason it got changes in the first place was because people complained it was to hard to even get to lvl 50 which it wasnt if you did ranked first then social getting you an easy 50. I preferred this over Reach’s ranking system and I prefer this over Halo 4’s ranking system both are garbage ! However if they do decide to take it back to a similar system as Halo 3’s but kinda similar to Reach I would love this it would be challenging towards the end and easy to get to at least lvl 30.
As for things such as these new built in AA which is standard to all spartan’s these are not copies from games these are different. How some may ask?
Well first of all you cannot get a perfect jump every time to perfectly clear a ledge when your in a bind with this you will never say oh, if only I could have gotten on the ledge for an advantage I would have won. It stops the excuses now for the ADS it is classic Halo. Just cause they change the field of view doesnt mean its a copy of something we have had “Zoom” which is ADS just from a different perspective of view. Next the Ground Pound…I never want to hear its a rip off of Destiny because its nots not OP and its no UP ,it takes skill to get kills with this ability you have to literally hit the opponent with this in order to kill them missing results in smash damage or you missing results in you losing shields to in coming fire cause you didnt kill or get splash damage. Entirely skill based other than Destiny where you just use a super knowing people are gonna die and just walking away almost every time. The thrust pack was never one of my favorite abilities cause to me it felt short…I preferred evade, but now its got boost like evade and gives you an option for a fast get away when out numbered with actual evasion.
I loved Halo 4’s MM but it lacked things…I wish they brought back more skill based weapons like the Pro Pipe, it wasnt a simple noobtube but an artists weapon not only canceling out a Banshee’s HELL BOUND Unfreakingbelievable but stopped Wraith’s as well as Falcon’s giving the Maps balance. The concusion rifle is good…but the Brute shot was better I understand Brutes might not play roles in Halo any longer but at least keep weapons around as a trophy. Why not bring the Prophets chair as a vehicle , single person seat with two sentinels shooting lasers would be cool. But again I understand I love the Gungoose hopefully it returns to Halo 5.
343 I use to trust Bungie with Halo but that boat has sailed. Now a new torch has been lit and they must carry the flame dont extinguish it add to the fire and make it burn ever brighter put more cool vehicles from the books in the game and more weapons and enemies ! Thats all I request from them besides giving us Beta’s or Alpha’s so we can help give more feed back of what work and what doesnt.

With regards to the ranking system, they’ve given details on that. It’s being designed by the guy who did the Starcraft 2 ranking system. Basically, there are seven divisions, five normal, one semi-pro, and one pro. Each division will have internal ranks, and you have to play a certain number of matches before being put into a division.

Details of the ranking system for Halo 5 already been announced, read for yourself.
