I Have recently bought some mountain dew from the U.S because of the halo 4 promotion for the double xp. I created a account on the website and everything was ok so i bought the product off ebay because I do not believe wallmart deliver to the uk. It cost me $50 dollars in total about £30. When it arrived I started to enter in the codes on the website. I entered all 40 of them so they were all redeemed and all the double xp was banked. I then started to select which prize draws I would be entered in for, the website then informed me I was not eligable for the promotion because I was not a U.S citizen. So I had just bought all this and not even got the promotion it came with. I was more annoyed at the fact that I was only informed i was not eligable AFTER I had already entered in all 40 codes. I would like to ask wether because of the circumstances a exception could be made allowing me to recive the double xp.
I am upset the fact that this promotion was only avalible to U.S citizens and believe the advantage should be made avalible to uk fans as well.
I have already contacted the us pepsi corp they said they carn’t/wont help and the uk pepsi corp said they carnt becuase they only manufacture the mountain dew energy.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many thanks

really sorry to hear that, if you havent drank any of em you could sell them to people for a cheaper price, get some money back.
If you’ve entered the codes, then you might still be able to use the double XP, just not the prizes.
Dude, that sucks. I wish everyone was entitled to getting the Double XP but, it does say US only man.
Like I said everyone should have this opportunity, but thats me saying it, not the corporations cutting deals with each other…
I doubt they will listen, and we already know their answer “It clearly states its for US citizens only!”
Sorry man, I would help if I could, but maybe you can send me the codes??? LOL jk
I don’t think there’s really anything to be done about this. The rules for the promotion were in place before the promotion was started, so even though you didn’t know about them, that’s not a reason to become an exception.
A bit harsh, but that’s just my view. Though it is somewhat annoying that the promotion is restricted to a certain area.
just annoyed me the fact that they told me after i redeemed the codes rarther than before.

The prizes would obviously only be eligable to U.S. residents due to shipping and handling /customs regulation laws.
You may have gotten the double XP, but yeah it’s fairly well known the Double XP thing isn’t available in the UK and its annoying.

Mabe but it said when i clicked the prizes you are not eligable as a big pop up and couldnt get rid of it. I didnt read the rules till it said that but you think when i created my account it would warn me or after the fist lot of codes rarther than waiting till i entered all 40 in lol ah well £30 down the drain i will learn next time not to trust companys websites
I will just have to tan the game 2x as much as americans

With promotions like this you can trust them, but you just have to know what the rules of the game are first.

I Know what i ment was trsting the website to inform me if i was not eligable. it did but it did after i redeemed the codes. Making them useless to others also.
Websites aren’t going to hold your hand every time. Reading rules is important, really it’s not them, it’s you.

Well no obviously isnt a well created website if it does that i usually read rules of things i dont know but seems though its part of pepsi who is also branched in the uk thought it would be for the uk and us. but like i said earlier i will make sure i check now. Most websites will say if your not eligable when creating the account like i said earlier not bothered im not eligable just the fact it told me after entering the codes so its clearly badly designed.
Have you tried adding the double XP to your Gamertag?
