The multiplayer is some of the best halo has had. Campaign is another matter but i play for mp so all good for me.
Well, I’d like to give some more detailed feedback to expand upon that idea.
I do feel as though every single major problem from Reach to Halo 4 to Halo 5 could all be solved by taking a step back, and looking at Halo 3 - the culmination of all of the best, most highly rated Halos. They just really haven’t done that yet. While Bungie mostly ignored the fan feedback, 343’s problem is they’re too reactionary and extreme - at least it seems to me. “We want ranked!” “Okay ranked, but no social.” “Too many medals!” “Okay, no medals.” I’ve said it all before. That type of deal.
They need a clear vision, and with the rift you see between even Halo 4 and Halo 5, it’s just not there. Halo 1 - 3 was like a singular, evolving experience, almost like it was one game that slowly changed. The best way I can put ‘modern Halo’s’ evolving experience is: Stumbling about. Halo 5’s multiplayer mechanics are, however, a breath of fresh air in the midst of the drowning that’s happening.

This thread should be locked for grammar’s sake. And as much as everyone complains guess who still has our money. Just deal with it. I bet almost all of us will still buy Halo 6
