Lately the forums have been…lets call them unpleasent for lack of a better word, threads of complaints, flamming and name calling seems rampant with no end in sight.
Ofcoarse there many reasons for this, fan boys (on BOTH sides), anger at changes and just general flamming are a few of the top reasons however one of the main reasons why I think this has gone on for as long as it has is because it feels as though you’re not even on these threads anymore (And who would blame you.)
343 without your presence the community is now stuck in loop of complaints folowed by complaints about complaints, follwed by complaints complaining about the complaints made about complaints…etc and so forth.
And this loop is doomed to repeat until both people who like Halo 4 and those who dont start to feel fustrted and leave.
I know Im asking for much,and I know you have a lot on your shoulders but I beilieve if you have a bigger presence on the forums you’ll see the community “come around” so to speak .
I mean you already do it with the Halogaf community which is at its worst the most sarcastic Halo 4 hating community next to Halo wapoint.

And yet even with all flack you recieve there, whenever Frankie goes on there , the community is respactfull and it geuinly seems like they enjoy Frankies’ presence and want to improve halo for both the casuals and the competitive players.
Im not asking for much, just having a deigner drop into a thread and say things like “thats not feasible” or even thats a good idea we’ll look into that". It shows that you really care for the franscise and the community which helped build it
I know a lot of my own anger and frustration would abate If I started noting 343 employees posting in here. Since Decemebr of last year when I joined the beta I would see BS Angel and Snickerdoodle posting in here and being pretty chatty to almost playful. Now it’s a waste land with the occasional Moderator showing up and even that is infrequent. But kudos to them that do. I could forgive a lot the problems if 343 was actually in here stating their case.
I know it’s hard to defend everything about Halo 4 all the time and they’ll get rage posters and they’ll get supporters, but hey guess what everyone in here runs the risk of being flamed the minute they type a thought. That’s what happens on Message boards that are interesting and worth frequenting. I don’t want everyone kissing my -Yoink- every time I say something. Only a weak ego wants a chorus of sycophants barking at their table.

Sadly 343i lack of comunication might be simply because the community has played its part. Everyone, even neogaf and Halocouncil, sites which generally despise Halo 4 still played major roles in hyping and supporting 343, now that the game is out it seems 343 doesnt really need us anymore…shame.
lol you are asking 343 to get involved with their community… the only problem with this is that 343 is so out of touch with their community they will most likely never even see this post…
the community manager is a girl (not tryint to sound sexist or anything) that looks like she couldnt care less about the future of halo or its community… in fact her twitter feed is full funny/playful comments and stuff non related to halo, she shouldnt be community manager, she isnt managing the community… just my two cents…

I guess they should cancel that update that costs developers about 40,000 bucks that focuses mainly on all the -Yoink- people were whineing for then. I mean all they care about is money right they dont need to do the update then. (Sarcasm i suck at it)

I sort of agree/disagree.
On the one hand I think BS angel is really cool and her cheery attitudes bring some light bulletin. on the other hand it feels as though everything she does is to hype Halo 4 even after release,I would like her to include a section in the bulletin for fan criticisms and developer reactions to them.
