you can make a halo game wrong in every way possible and still get a positive reaction from gamers abroad. how? its very simple.
just follow these steps:
- stop listening to those (fanboys) who appreciate and defend the mediocre content you keep putting out.
- stop listening to those (haters) who rejects everything about 343i Halo.
- stop listening to the community, you will end up with a frankenstein game
final step) start making quality content that has perfect chemistry with everything you add or take away from Halo; in other words be creative.
Im no expert but halo5 seems to be that frankenstein that many people hate. halo 5 should be more like the classic halo’s 1,2 or 3 imo.
listen carefully. halo 1,2 or 3 weren’t frankensteins of each other; halo 2 did not copy and paste halo 1, also halo 3 did not copy and paste from halo 2. I don’t expect Halo5 to copy and paste from any of them.
what made them similar is that all those halo games were unique, they all brought a style of gameplay that was fun to play but not from the norm of their generation. everything in all three of those game made nearly perfect chemistry to their audience. halo1 catered to the coop audience but made others adapt to it. halo2 catered to the campaign lovers. halo 3 catered to the MLG party. all three of those games are epic in their own way and will never be forgotten. Oh, and also honorable mention, Halo Reach.
343, you remember when you helped to give us Reach? gorgeous game, the best imo. that game was so far ahead of COD and other games that it made me happy that I chose XBOx just to play Halo. At release halo Reach also lacked in content but the content that was there made perfect sense; eventually you added more fabulous dlc content that made that game a powerhouse. the foundation of halo 5 is broken unfortunately. Im no pro and i can’t pinpoint exactly what it is but the game just does not feel epic like the past Halo’s. Halo 5 guardians feels like too much recycled material play-by-play that has been experimented in other recent games.
