What did you do during the development cycle of Halo 5 that took 3 years 343i? (these are just my observations).
- 343i clearly did not spend a lot of time developing and play testing Halo 5’s campaign. - 343i clearly did not spend that much time developing the few arena based multiplayer maps that we have. - 343i did not spend that much time on developing fan favorite game modes that are typically associated with Halo’s multiplayer. - 343i did not develop a different game engine to maximize the computing power of the first new Halo title on MS’s next gen console. - 343i did not spend a lot of time developing and debugging H5’s User Interface. - 343i did not spend a lot of time developing new enemies, characters and weapons (everything is pretty much a reskin from Halo 4)So that leaves Warzone and the game play mechanics. But in reality, there is no reason why Warzone and mechanics should take 3 years to complete/perfect. So what exactly did you do during this time 343i? My thoughts, a whole lot of spinning your wheels that in the end, accomplished nothing.
343i, its time to get back to basics for the development on Halo 6. You need to stop having a mandatory “play time” each and every day from 3-4 p.m. lest you forget, you’re in business to build games, you can play them on your own time after hours. (besides, that’s what you hired the proteam for… developers develop, proteam plays and makes suggestions) You need to create a campaign worthy of the name HALO.
actually, you need more than I can possibly list in this short post. Please don’t let us down again… This franchise/community can’t take another disappointment.
I actually think the pro team hindered Halo 5’s multiplayer.
As far as the campaign goes. Besides the writing not being that good and the levels not the best. My theory is that Halo 4 was 343 ending the Bungie era of Halo and Halo 5 is 343 setting up the new era. The problem is, Halo 4 should have set that up. Instead of hitting it out of the park with Halo 5, we now have to wait for Halo 6. Hopefully everything comes together in Halo 6.

while I admire your optimism nothing that 343 has done this far even remotely suggests that halo 6 will be anything but another failure whose sole purpose is to be a cash grab for Microsoft.
The team should be heavily working on Halo Infinite’s graphical improvements, etc. by now, so you can’t rush success. As long as 343 listens to the community’s feedback (as they claim they are) the game should be fine.

Do you actually know anything about how long it takes to do any of the things you listed? I certainly don’t and that’s why I don’t pretend that I do.

You revived a 4-year-old thread to make an off-topic comment about a game. Nice.
