You give the fans the 1-50 ranking system, something we`ve wanted since Halo 3. But then decide to not allow people to view this in-game. Now I assume this was done in an attempt to lessen its appeal as something people will care about. In theory there could possibly be more “Boosters” if the 1-50 ranking system was visable in-game.
However this is the point where I start to see a flaw in this logic. Title Updates are supposed to be able to gather more interest as issues are resolved and new things are added. By lessening the appeal of the
1-50 ranking system by means of requiring the use of Halo Waypoint, you are essentially restricting the positive aspects of the update.
As we are all aware the number of players in matchmaking is steadily declining much faster than previous Halo games. And I feel that your decision should be reconsidered for the good of the Halo community. A community I would like to see thrive once again.
As a side note I would like to add that Halo 4 still has many “boosters” even in its current state. However now players simply try to boost thier K/D ratios. Something that I think is far more simplistic and easy than the method of boosting in previous games in the series.
Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this.
it is not shown because the game is written that way and they can not figure it out to add a number next to your name. I agree it is dumb but to be honest the best they can do is what they are doing with the online thing. but i agree it is pointless if it is just online and not in game
I honestly dont even care or look forward to the CSR. No one has the time to go to Halo Waypoint or the website and look at it.
I don’t get the idea either of making it visible only on Waypoint, but I think we better take what we can get.
while i disagree of them having it only on waypoint. I believe it’s for the greater good since im sure we all have the time between matches to get up and look. I’m looking forward to it.
Exactly. Not like we don’t have Halo Tracker. Loads faster too.
CSR visible would be awesome. They state that UI limitations is the cause. Well, if you cannot find a place to put the number, why not on your player card in between your specialization and rank?
For playlists, it is a long tile, with the population at the end. Why not place your rank somewhere in between for specified playlist?

Why you are acting with shock?
343i has stated that it would not be visible in-game for MONTHS.
Get over it please. I am hopeful that it will be in Halo 5.

Not that I don’t agree in this case, but is “Hope Halo 5 is better” really all that much of a better response and/or attitude to have?

Because 343i are complete fools. Also because of crying little -Yoinks!- who -Yoinking!- suck and dont wont to be picked on.
Look here you -Yoink-. Get better at the game. Ive worked my -Yoink- off since Halo CE to get better at this game. I didnt need damn super aim assist or random power weapons to do it. Buck up kids and work hard for your rank. People are so soft nowadays.

I paid for the game, it seriously lacked what it should have to be a halo game and you tell me to just get over it…
> I honestly dont even care or look forward to the CSR. No one has the time to go to Halo Waypoint or the website and look at it.
Says the guy that is on the website and is one click away…
I hope you were being sarcastic. XD
They stated UI limitations. I can only take them for their word and hope they learned a lot from their first full title and do Halo 5 right. The CSR for Halo 4 will all depend on how fast the site updates IMO. I have enough devices to have one ready to view it. If Halo 5 is on the next Xbox like we all assume it will then the possibilities for greatness could be there. Only time will tell.
> To be honest I was pretty shocked when I heard that they properly announced this. I would have thought 343 would have realised the positive impact an in-game 1-50 would have had and reconsider it. Telling me to “get over it” is a negative attitude. Especially when I am simply expressing my opinion on how to improve the game.
> I paid for the game, it seriously lacked what it should have to be a halo game and you tell me to just get over it…
Before the game was released, they said there would be no visible-in-game CSR. When the game released, they said there would be no visible-in-game CSR. Since the game was released, they said there would be no visible-in-game CSR.
If that was what you needed for a perfect game, perhaps you should have waited, because they are still saying that there will be no visible-in-game CSR.

You are acting as if this is the first time 343i has spoken about CSR not being in the game…
They spoke about it months ago…
Hence, why the sudden shock…?

There’s no logic, just sheer trolling man. Just like the red X now being white, just like the boltshot remaining a one shot kill just in shorter distance.
you could not be any more right
UI problems and the fact that it’s an arbitrary number. If you’re so concerned about K/D, it shows up on the service record. If you’re really so concerned about a person’s skill, I’m sure you probably also count as one of those people who would legitimately go out of their way to go to the website to check this stuff.
I get that it adds a bit of competitive edge to Halo, but it’s certainly not the end of the world. I’m still waiting patiently for a DMR and ordinance balance.
