This, “We’ll pay it respect and then kick it in the d*** business?”
for those confused… There’s a contest on Facebook to get a Mark V master chief statue, and hell, it looks REALLY cool. Back when CE:A came out I WAS SO impressed with just how much respect had been paid to the Mark V in the game. It was utterly gorgeous…!
Then Halo 4 came out, a game I had really wanted, and hell, I LOVED it. I still do, its a wonderful little game that’s going to offer me MONTHS of fun before it dies out, if not even longer.
But something really bugs me.
Why did they work so hard to replicate and do justice for Mark V… And then in Halo 4’s prologue… Act like neither Mark V or VI existed at all? Chief’s new suit was supposedly something that happened while he was in Cryo… But the prologue kicks that right in the nuts and says, “Nah dude they always had this stuff!” Even kicking Mark IV in the gonads, which we’ve seen in both Halo Wars AND Forward Unto Dawn.
What’s the deal?
Why exclude Mark V from Multiplayer and include a modernized Mark VI? Why act like it never existed, if you would work so hard to replicate it?
What the heck?
The best way to rectify this would be DLC but honestly I doubt that’s gonna’ happen. Yeah I’d gladly pay for it but should any of us have to? Its like… A total disservice to the old gear to just ignore its existence RIGHT after proving you care about it.
I just don’t get it! Forum, please. Tell me your thoughts, help me see what’s going on, tell me something that makes it right. Anything.
