I guess it’s only Karma if you’re copying from other games yourself.
I can sort of understand the whole UNSA thing but everything else cant seem to just be a coincidence, there’s just to many similarity’s.
Kinda makes me wanna play the new COD… nope nevermind just remembered the twitchy multiplayer, screw COD
That video is ridiculous
Halo wasn’t the first game to have the military fighting rebels or whatever so that whole point is moot
Both games have a woman in a navy uniform that happens to have black hair. Big deal.
Both games have a cliche square Jawed “military veteran” type character.
Both games have clichéd aircraft that look like futuristic versions of today’s aircraft.
Etc, etc, it’s hardly copying halo.
Halo doesn’t have 2.5 million dislikes though XD

Yeah, I honestly don’t see the similarities either. Halo isn’t the first game or story to have a sci-fi setting.
A lot of the stuff in the Call of Duty trailer is pretty basic, generic stuff when it comes to futuristic military. Everything from the rebels, the ships, a united earth government. None if this is unique to Halo and has been around in stories long before Halo even existed.
Well I mean one is supposed to be a SciFi Military shooter and the other is a World War I shooter. I liked it better when modern shooters stayed modern or in the past, and all the futuristic stuff was left to dudes in green armor or people with the name John
I don’t think ‘swindled’ is the correct term for this case…
Futuristic ships are gonna have some sort of similarities when you’re trying to make them look like tough, army-built vessels.
Also, why is it that videos like that always have an annoying voice?

CoD isn’t a World War I shooter. Just because it started off that way doesn’t mean it will always be that. Unlike most games, a lot of CoD games have a different setting and don’t follow one set storyline, with the exception of the Modern Warfare series and Black Ops. That gives them the flexibility to make a CoD game in any time or place without being bound to one time, place, or event.
And once again, CoD can’t come up with any original ideas.
Puts on tinfoil hat Hits blunt
What if COD is a prequel to Halo?

I’d like to see that one happen after a merger :)) maybe get bungie back on the same bandwagon and finally discover that Destiny is future Halo (ex. Meridian / Meridian Bay).
Hard light, etc.
OP I hope you didnt make that video because it is just so wrong on so many levels. Might as well say they are copying halo because they have Green on their armor as well.
A lot of these complaints are overly picky… how many different ways can you display a distant, rocky planet with a mining colony? Which is most certainly what humanity will do once interplanetary travel is possible. Most rocky planets will look similar, most aircrafts will look similar due to aerodynamical reasons, military ships will be named as nautical ships most likely.
Truth is a lot of these similarities are spun from ideas that are, ultimately, simply grounded in reality. There isn’t really much else you can do.
Can someone explain who infinity ward is and why they are swindiling 343i?
The OP is a little light on detail, thanks.
Edit: Never mind, just realised the OP has a link.
2nd edit: Can’t view the video on my work PC, what is it about?
