343i/ The Fate of Halo

Do you think Halo is in good hands? Do you think 343 will take Halo farther than it’s ever been? Or do you think 343 will ruin Halo… and bring sadness to all us Halo fans?
Me? I think Halo is in good hands. You’ve seen what 343 can do. The Defiant Map Pack- Amazing. Just simply amazing. The skybox, the maps, everything.
Anniversary- Awesome. Graphics, multiplayer…
Halo 4- We haven’t seen much yet, but the concept art and trailers make it seem like Halo 4 will be very exciting. I can’t wait to plunge deeper into the story of the Halo Universe.
What are your opinions on 343i and Halo’s future?

Things like that I take as I get them. 343 has a lot to prove and I am anxious and hopeful to see them succed. We just have to wait and see what they have up their sleeves.

Really, I think that 343i is going to take care of halo. They actually look like they care about what the fans think.

People need to remember that 343i is a completely Halo based company, the majority of people who work there chose to work there for their love of Halo, you could call them the ultimate fanboys/fangals! if needed, the community on this website is great and putting them two together results in a near perfect Halo experience for everyone.

343i believe.

Even so, what people really need to learn to do is quit assuming or jumping to conclusions. Most people shy away from something or leave it alone and never touch it until it’s dead and gone or on it’s last few breaths.

I’ve been burned by hyping myself up many times and I’ve missed out on some great ideas or even gotten into them way too late. I was one of the few that found the solace and enjoyment from The Cake is a Lie only about a year ago =/

But… the cake wasn’t a lie, I ate it before access to it.

I catch what your saying man, people overhype or underhype these kind of things to early on and when it gets here or we get more on it because they are disappointed that it wasn’t what they predicted it to be.

Too soon to tell. CEA is looking great, but we can’t really judge a studio until we see their first new game (in 343i’s case, Halo 4).

Well it worked the opposite with Assassin’s Creed for me. I’m already deep into controversy on the old world and religious conspiracies. Read a couple books before AC dropped and was doing extensive research. Each game has impressed me more and more with it’s depictions of real places, events and such than anything else. The game play to me is great too.

Since blowing myself up for a couple games recently, most notably LA Noire, which is great but has so much more potential and Borderlands - great experience but sadly short lived especially with it’s co-op’ing.
