343i, you have much you can share and you won’t yet reveal anything other than background news of employees. The community is getting very irritated because they feel teased with the word ‘soon’ although its been quite some weeks. All the same I trust you have good reason to hold back the smaller details despite my immense irritation.
Personally I would suggest not typing about how you cannot wait to show and tell us these juicy pieces of information. These statements get our hopes up for what WE consider soon, which is a considerably shorter length of time in our minds.
Well apparently there will be information on March 5. So hopefully then. But that is pure speculation so it could easily be false.

This thread isn’t about rumors of information releasing on certain dates.
This thread is about things that are likely insignificant enough to be shown to the community and the issue of feeling teased.

Microsoft is having a Spring Showcase on the 29th and they are embargoing some info till the 5th (for magazines and ect to write about it)
Usually 343i has shot rumors down by now but pretty much everyone at 343i has refused to comment on it and David Ellis and Frankie have avoided talking about it all together on NeoGAF (where Frankie quickly shot down the VGAs and Super Bowl)
Right now March 5th is looking like its going to happen.

It matters because we have a somewhat confirmed date on this info.
I don’t really think 343 is “afraid” to show anything. They just don’t want to yet. Their game, their decision on how to market it.
I believe we will be seeing information on the game within the next couple of months but maybe not the info you’re looking for. I do agree they should release so major aspects of the game ( Ranking system, Br/DMR) just to hook people back in.

Hmm, i may need to “reqoute” myself. I just learnt that, while the Covenant won’t appear in Halo 4 (They’re defunct), we may see some of the races appear, as side enemies, or as ally’s…But I’m not too sure. need to wait until Feb 29th!
Yeah, we know they shouldn’t be afraid. Sadly, it seems like they don’t know it.

They did not confirm any of that although I do agree with you somewhat
