343i Should Try At Making a Star Wars Game

Now that EA seems to be loosing their exclusive contract on the Star Wars Game franshice, then I would love to see 343 Industries one day try to make a Star Wars game. They could of made their own Star Wars Battlefront with the smooth shooting from Halo games and the awesome Space battles and even sword combat, just a fun FPS Multiplayer from 343i in the Star Wars Universe. Maybe even a single player if they wanted, with how good the shooting controls from 343i is and how good they’re at making space battle controls (like in the last level of Halo 4) I think their Star Wars FPS would be awesome and fun. Of course would be hard to make nowadays with Halo Infinite around the corner, but maybe some after Infinite’s release get a small team from the 343i to give their try?

Though it is a great idea, I don’t think 343 should risk there selves to do something like that, cause then it’s going to affect the company and probably the Halo franchise, something none of us want, either ways IGN confirmed that Ubisoft is making a open world Star Wars game that most likely will include dog fights

Don’t wanna get off-topic, but can you give me the source for this?

As for a 343 version of a star wars game, I would say pretty much what Murmuringboot said about 343 risking the franchises name

I mean, they can’t mess up worse then they did with Halo 5: Guardians so idk.

No. There are dozens of companies that can do Star Wars games and only one that makes Halo games, so I’d rather have my Halo if you don’t mind – unless XGS lets id Software and MachineGames try to put their own spin in spin-off Halo games, which actually could be very interesting.

Here’s the link to the article, it was made today

Yea 343 Industries has enough problems with Infinite already. Let’s let em focus on what’s at hand.

The idea is interesting, but I don’t think it’s worth the risk. 343i has only made Halo titles, and Halo is the reason the company was formed. I feel as if diving into an area that isn’t Halo risks the possible reputation of both 343i and the Star Wars gaming scene. While it would be interesting to see 343’s take on Star Wars, I think it would be better if it continues to stay only in the realm of Halo.

No thanks, the Idea itself is interesting but I think the Market has too many Starwars Games.

It would be best if 343i stayed away from the Star Wars rabbit hole.

Nope

What? Seriously? I mean, I have heard worse… but 343I (An Xbox Game Studios developer) making a 3rd party game? No. If they haven’t made a proper Halo yet, they sure as heck shouldn’t touch a franchise already ruined by EA.

EA was lucky Fallen Order came out so well. I expected nothing from them and was utterly impressed. How they pulled that from their behinds, I have zero clue. Hopefully 343 Industries can do the same with Halo. But let’s nut screw with a 3rd party title. I doubt Disney would want a Star Wars game to be an exclusive either.
