with the confirmation of Helioskrill being awarded to any random person and not just for those who went and did the Legend challenge, I think 343i should bring back the vidmaster challenges as part of their post launch content plans.
the idea of having a rare armor set to chase by doing some kind of heroic feat is very appealing to me as im sure it is to others. Just look at how well exotic bountys are doing in destiny. I mean people actually got excited to go around and collect 45 rocks on a space ship (hunger pangs quest for those who are interested). I think being rewarded with an exclusive armor set by doing some tough mulitplayer achievement or playing a modified version of a campaign mission or something like that would be an awesome community event.

Ha, I posted the same thought just a while ago. I agree completely, needless to say. The vidmasters added a lot of replayability and challenge to Halo 3. Honestly felt it was one of Bungie’s best moves with the series

I agree 343 should add Vidmaster achievements to halo 5. I remember spending a good deal of time into trying to get those achievements and having lot of Fun getting them and also the sense of accomplishment when I got them.

Solo AND coop full party legendary halo 5
Speedrun legendary achievements all in mcc plus halo 5, coop or solo
Find all terminals/intell/skulls in halo mcc/5
Log into way point once done and claim your reward.

That would be pretty challenging, but not impossible. And a slight grind yes but fr those who really want it, they work for it.
