If you check out the interactive guide you know that they show off all of the helmets/armor classes in the game. If you click on FOTUS it warns you something about it using the same safety protocols as COUGAR-class armor. (I think it says safety protocols, all I know is that it says COUGAR-class armor).
Anyway, after going back through the list a few times I see that there is no armor called COUGAR, so it is possible this could be 343i’s secret armor.
NOTE: this is similar as to how Bungie included the mention of RECON in the SCOUT armor’s description.

But this is also what kept a lot of great Machinimas, maps, and other crazy stuff pumping out like crazy.
I hope they have a plan to give it out to people who make great maps, maps that can then be used in MM. We’d have a near infinite amount of maps, and people would always keep making more.

Which is why I really hope that what I’ve seen really is the case.

Not a bad plan, though I’d prefer it to be a reward for doing something benifical to the community as a whole.
To me it seems like they will do what the did with the first recon helmet(in reach) first make it preorder then dumb it down a bit and add it into the game. but i seriously hope they make the original fotus exclusive to the console just because them guys that crapped out big money deserve to have atleast one ingame dlc that is truly exclusive.

I actually think that the SR-130 reward is FOTUS armor, since they confirmed that the console gets a FOTUS armor skin, as far as I know.

Possibly, I could see them doing that. It would be neat, but I think thats what Fotus is given out for. Who knows? As long as I can get it I’ll be happy, if I cant, I’ve got halo 4 lol
And I had a feeling they were hiding at least one set of armor from us lol.

I dont get it…If its kinda like how bungie did Recon…Doesnt everyone have the opportunity to get this rumored armor?
