Me and my mate have come up with a good idea regarding a ranked skill levelling system - Now before you leave or post a comment saying we’ve had this before PLEASE HEAR ME OUT. Right many people don’t like there’s not a ranking system or isn’t going to be one implemented into the game except waypoint . Now me and my mate had this idea , we know some people don’t like ranked skill levels and we know some do . So we had the idea why not make a RANKED SPECIALISATION - There are already several other specialisations like pathfinder and wet work . But this is a whole new idea . this ranked specialisation won’t level up like others . Instead it will start from level 0 and the max level it could be is a 50 , it will be totally seperate from the normal ranking system , a ranked playlist will be made for it and depending on your skill the better you are the higher the number just like halo 3 . The ranked specialisation can only be used on the ranked playlist . this way people who don’t like the original ranking system from halo 3 won’t have to use it as it is totally seperate . The ranked playlist will only be allowed to be played if you equip the ranked specialisation . Tell me what you think
I don’t like this idea. If 343 are going to bite the bullet and add ranks in they should do it properly, not this halfway-house of an idea. Sorry 
So like halo 3’s ranked and social playlist. That was a fine balance, where the regulars could play and where the die hards could play. Simpler the better. Honestly I wish halo 4 had this.

I know I agree full ranks but I can’t see this happening , I think this will be a middle way agreement

OT: its a good suggestion but if they are going to put in ranked, then why do this one over the halo 3 system?

This honestly seems like a waste. Just make ranked and social. People that don’t like ranked can play social. People that like ranked can play ranked. I don’t get why it wasn’t there to begin with. People will cheat any system that they put in place. Doesn’t mean they should just get rid of the system because a few people are jerks.
