I want to know why, if an American and a European meet the server on which the match is played in America.
You should know one thing: From Europe to the American ping server can exceed 200 ms, an American has the Halo server under the house with a table of 20-80 ms.
An American has 0.4 seconds ahead of a European, in H5 exist weapons that kill in less than a second. It follows that a European player can be killed by an American or a South American with a SMG even before the electrical signal from the eyes can reach the synapses of the brain.
Now I wonder, but because the money of an American worth more of my money that’s Italian? we both bought this game at the same price, then explain to me why we can not play on equal terms.
What happens when a European player encounters an American player:
The American player can:
Teleportation himself to 5 meters
3 rounds of assault rifle kill (you the AR, not the BR)
-Continue To run undisturbed without stopping after they are riddled with bullets. And do not die.
-Survive An entire magazine of AR and 4 shots of magnum in the body.
-Kill With a single melee attack.
-Invulnerability By assassins / ninja / melee behind
Invulnerability to headshots
Now I wonder, what’s the point to insert rank as standard, onyx, diamond, if the scores are made by conessions?
I, for example, are now champ in the FFA, but I can not find anyone with balanced search preferences or focused, I am forced to use the advanced search, and obviously I find Americans, Canadians, South Americans with a connection dozens of times superior to mine, I can not go any further, I’m stuck, I can not reach the rank 1 because my connection can not compete with American ones.
I say that in case of with a probability of 50% players “mixed” the server must be randomly chosen between Europe and America (or Asia, etc.) or an intermediate server where all players to always choose to have around same distance from the server.
Because as things are now is not good, you need to change.
I saw so many South Americans complain against the Americans because of their connection, this made me smile, imagine how frustrating it is to play with a European connection against an American.

Apparently for 343 not: For the 343i, there are players of A Series and B Series , etc. you get the benefits on grounds of nationality. For the 343i there are people of a and b series system:
series to:
Americans
Canadian
B series:
South America
Maybe some parts of Russia close to the US
Series C:
All the rest of the world: Europe, Africa, Midle East, Australia etc.
The problem is that these series are not based on skill, but on nationality.
As European player I feel unfairly discriminated against me, as if my money were worth less than those of an American.
Pretend that if I play against an American the server hosting the meeting either randomly chosen or does not give an unfair advantage to anyone, especially on grounds of nationality.
I as a paying customer i PRETEND to be treated the same way as an American.

I think that basically you lack the experience to notice the problem. Of course, cases where empty a magazine of AR and 4 of magnum bullets against an opponent and he does not die are rare, but when you have some experience you will know calculate exactly how many seconds it takes to kill an enemy with a particular weapon in a particular condition. And when you realize that this time almost DOUBLES when you are playing against any other player that is not European understand that there is a serious problem.
Watch some video of an American on twitch, not necessarily a pro, look at how long a SMG he kills an enemy, try doing a focused search, note that time is very close to what American’s one, then try again to go to extensive research comparing yourself against Americans, look what changes.
Often thin details, that disrupt the meeting, but Seize them only to a certain level, and only after a lot of experience.
In Warzone for example it is more difficult to notice, maybe just at the beginning, but in a playlist as SWAT or FFA connections decide the outcome of the match. On grounds of nationality

I have some experiences with the problem but like I said this hardly happens for me and it may be your connection to the server but yet again it could be you playing with foreign players which maybe a population issue which there is a dedicated thread for. - Don’t need to watch a video on Twitch just simply watch a YouTube video of a American Halo player. I can see how he killed someone with a SMG similar to how I killed someone with the SMG same TTK like the one in the video. - Fair point there but I don’t experience just as much as you. - Haven’t tried a Arena 4v4 playlist for a few days so I have to try it out to see if your point is true.

Except they dont treat you differently and a nationality is not a race. Race being used loosely cause I dont even believe in the concept.
The only way you could make the discrimination claim is if you find objective evidence that 343 is actively making the choice of screwing EU players over. What we see is a server issue, and its not something that only applies to halo.

Technology regarding servers works like this: The further away you are, the less quality you will find in the connection. Closer means better. America is where Halo is made, it’s where the main server is… Do the math. It’s not 343’s job to maintain the servers across the great ocean- It’s microsoft’s job. The Azure servers belong to MS and thus, they need to fix it.
Racism is indeed a thing, where you exclude someone INTENTIONALLY… However 343 is not doing that…

I actaully find a lot of US players are very racist against EU players. They get pretty verbal about it.
Halo 5 has gone to -Yoink-. I’m searching on expanded early in the day to find slightly laggy games then later in the day I can search focused and expanded and it’s worse off than early in the day. The majority of the time it’s North and South American players. It’s less common to come across other EU players.
Also why do I see the same players nearly every day and why do some players always seem to be on the opposing team more.

Isn’t there meant to be connection nerfs to better connections to make it an even playing field across all players.
The game was fine in the UK when it came out. There was a group of people complaining about connection and once they had there connection fixed EU went to -Yoink- but EU complaints about connection issues have been ignored. I had no idea what the people complaining was on about I had played over 1000 games with less than a handful of disconnects but there was an issue apparently.
If they ever do acknowledge it they will say some crap like “it has recently come to our attention” when we’ve been talking about an issue for nearly a year.
Every time they make an update to the games connection and reliability it just gets worse. The game was fine when it came out but now it’s -Yoink-.
As a player I’m only getting worse and worse at the game because the connection keeps getting worse.

Just curious are you getting games on balanced or expanded ? I’m a fellow Aussie and all this -Yoink- happenss almost every game on expanded now I don’t think it’s racist haha but it’s really frustrating and definitely takes away from the fun when your really trying to compete and play against higher ranked guys
