Like the title says there hasnt been a new map for awhile and since H6 wont be coming until at least 2019 it would be sweet to have more content to keep the game going.
Although new maps are always nice, I don’t think they need to “keep the game going” until Halo 6. There should be a point when they start focusing all of their efforts on Halo 6, and if they had to keep trying to sustain Halo 5, that would just make it more difficult.

Ya i do want them to really focus on H6, but at the same time i still want just a couple more map packs lol
I hope a small part of the team continues to update Halo 5. Of course, the majority, basically almost all, should be on H6. It may behoove MS to support H5 all the way to H6.

its called dividing the team into two different teams instead of everyone changing from Halo 5 to Halo 6. The majority could work on Halo 6 and the other on Halo 5.

If you want them to divide the team, then ok. But personally I’m fine with what Halo 5 has now
As unlikely it’ll be, I’d love to see a Warzone map set on Requiem / Genesis.
New maps are always nice but honestly, I think all of 343I efforts should be on Halo 6 now. Splitting the team up or even having a small one stay and work on 5 is pointless and not a very good use of resources. Your not going to bring in anymore fans and everyone who is still playing Halo 5, will be more then likely getting halo 6…so it’s not like your trying to convince anyone who plays 5 to get 6. They know they are. I want Halo 6 to launch with FULL content. Not missing half of it off the bat! So 343I need all the time they can get working on Halo 6. It needs to have a killer flawless launch.
Even the latest weapon tuning test, which I think is a great idea by the way, sorta feels like a waste of time… but a big part of me thinks that test is for Halo 6 so it’s fine then.

True we are lacking Forerunner maps
If WZ comes back in H6, hopefully we will be able to forge WZ maps then. That way the community could make some of them so the 343 team doesn’t need to once it gets later into that game’s life like how H5 is currently.
I’d love to see new maps. The ones now have gotten a little stale

Not only that, but plenty of people who aren’t still playing Halo 5 will more than likely get Halo 6, too. I don’t understand why people think Halo 6 won’t be popular unless Halo 5’s population survives until its release. There’s no reason to make that assumption. But I don’t understand how people can think Halo 5 feels stale after only two years, either…

I agree. As much as I like it when developers continue to support games that are considered old, I want them to go all in on Halo 6. I think it’s important for 343 to get it right and make it the best game they can.

I feel there a little stale because in WZ its the smallest amount of maps in any Halo ever.
They don’t need to make new maps, but it would be a nice gesture from 343 to the people that are still playing the game if we got a new one. Firefight is already getting tiresome and potentially two more years of these maps isn’t going to make it better.

I am so bored of getting skirmish at dark star 7/10 times , it’s all I ever seem to play !!! Some new maps would really revitalise this playlist . I agree
