As of right now there is no reason to use the BR because the DMR out-classes it so hard! I believe if they changed the BattleRifle to a four shot kill it would make it compete better with the DMR, anyone else feel the same?
dont get me wrong you can destroy with both but competitively the BR has no chance against the DMR because of the kill times and recoil.

I have seen players destroy people with both. In fact, I’ve seen someone go ham with an AR. I can’t wait to experience it for myself so that I’ll have a first hand account. Then if the BR would be better suit as a four shot kill, I will proudly stand by your side.

So why you trying to limit the game down to just two weapons?
This will never happen. Both guns can kill in 1.6 seconds. Bringing the BR to a 4 shot would over power it against the DMR.
Plus game play is fast enough already!
If anything, it should shoot slightly faster to make up for the 5sk. 
This. The DMR is currently much better than the BR, but the BR is what I want to use.
I’m only for the 4 shot burst Battle Rifle, if they nerf the ROF to be slower than Light Rifle, and nerf the reload time.
I don’t think they need to change the BR at all. What the do need to do it decrease the fire rate of the DMR slightly and it’ll be perfectly balanced.
100% Agree. Halo 2, and Halo 3 had the 4 shot. All the MLG gameplay I’ve seen, the DMR just overdoes it. It’s got longer range, more accurate, and a faster fire rate between shots. I’ll miss shooting 3 times in the chest, and once in the head for a 4 shot. To me, that is something classic from Halo that SHOULDN’T be taken out. Other than that, I’m fine.

the kill times are not the same i would love to give you some numbers on the exact kill times but i havnt tested it, i just know from playing.

not going with either side here but
they both kill in 1.6 seconds if every bullet hits which is arguably much more difficult with a br’s spread
