343i, please make the 343 AR skin available again

Greetings, 343! I, like many other Spartans on Halo 5, Are either stuck with only the 343 Magnum or on the contrary, AR only. I’m pretty sure it speaks to not only me, but for alot of people that having only one of the two triggers my inner OCD. If i remember correctly, these skins were part of the Spartan Armory… or another special REQ pack for a limited time, and weren’t supposed to be there. But many players got one or both of these skins. Also, I’m pretty sure we’re alot of collectors out there - every REQs, every skins etc…
Missing only 1/2 of the 343 skins may be slightly frustrating. My demand is as follows: Make these two skins (AR & Magnum) available again for a short period of time through a special REQ pack or something.
I would be happy forever and after if you could do that for us :slight_smile:
Thank you!

As much as I also want to fill in those annoying gaps on my collection, it’s not really worth the time for a single (special) item.

By the way, you and I share the same emblem; I’m assuming your tertiary colour is Salt rather than the Pepper of mine?

Salt or the one under that :stuck_out_tongue:

And it is worth, I mean there’s two new 343 Skins!

It would lose what makes it unique. Thats why they haven’t brought it back in a special pack

True, though exclusives really shouldn’t ever count towards a completion %. I hate it when games on Steam have Achievements that do that, requiring you buy the game during Early Access or visit some convention with the developers… Want some cosmetic for that? Sure. But have it forever count against your 100% Completion is just stupid.

So as long as these skins/emblems are exclusive like that, they shouldn’t count towards/against your completion count.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s a small thing, but it’s annoying to people like me who want to unlock everything but can’t afford micro-transactions every time a limited-edition skin becomes available.

It’s not just that, but the skins and stuff for attending the HCS events :frowning:
It’s great that you get something for going, but that shouldn’t be a requirement for getting 100% on your completion.

Yeah. Anything that isn’t in the REQ pool shouldn’t count toward completion. That would make special skins seem even more unique IMO.

Man, I really wish this community cared more about gaps in the map pool and playable gametypes, rather than cosmetic items that do not affect the overall quality of the game/gameplay…

I really worry that the Halo community isn’t raising enough concern and giving attention to the proper areas where Halo 5 is lacking. It’s the only way we can make any sort of meaningful impact, yet everyone keeps raising their issues with cosmetics/requesting more non-critical content. We have MORE than enough…

We NEED to get our priorities IN LINE as a community! At the end of the day, none of this stuff matters… They are great options to have, but when critical content/options are lacking, cosmetics should be the LAST things on everyone’s list. Critical content absolutely SHOULD not suffer at the expense of pumping out non-critical items.

It’s the only way that Halo can be the best game it can be.

@lickmyb4cUn

We can care about everything else, too. It’s just that having not having ex: 44/44 Magnums because the 343 ones counts in the total of items to get :S so either make it avaialble or remove the 343 1 from completion - so you’D get like 46/45 AR because extra.

It would be nice to get, I missed out last time.

Wait they count towards the reqpool? Huh…that’s odd I guess my friend is special he doesn’t have the skins and it doesn’t count towards his armory completion.

I agree with you, Anything that isn’t in the REQ pool shouldn’t count toward completion, 'cause some of us dont go to HCS events.

i never had the req points to get the skins at the time, but would love them to bring them back in a special pack

Ya, because not was available these days to get these skins. i was lucky to get the magnum just before they removed it from the packs :c

I want it back too ;-;

343 WHY?! WHY CAN’T YOU BRING IT BACK?!

I don’t see why they shouldn’t. FIrst of all it will make them money, if we could buy it in a pack, seems reasonable as we are asking for it.

I honestly want some emblems, armors, helmets, weapon skins etc to be exclusive hard-to-get items. I’m all for 343I giving someone say a special helmet that you can ONLY get bye making a map in forge and it got put into matchmaking… Or by doing that special something in the game, you get that special something that can ONLY be obtain that way. I think that kind of stuff is really neat. It means something, it gives the player a goal to strive towards. People need to learn (now more than ever I think ) that not everything in life is given to you, Somethings have to be earned. I absolutely LOVED the idea of you can only unlock that special helmet in Halo 5 (the spelling of it escapes me at the moment) if you beat Halo 1 - 4 on legendary mode on TMCC. Then they went and massively ruined it by giving it out randomly in REQ packs… :frowning: so brutal! That was a great idea.

I’m not as big of a fan of things like you have 1 week to buy this pack for X points (or real dollars… Ugh!) To get X cosmetic unlocks. I know why they do it (to make money) but I’m not a fan of that way. Unfortunately I think that that way we will become more common because companies can make more money off that method until people stop supporting MT!

I like it being exclusive, and hope they do not bring it back. There are too few exclusive items in the game. That said, I would not be against them making a new/different one and making that available.
