> > > > Nope, they should not. Why? Because they already gave us the Blue Flames, Red Flames, and the option to unlock the Haunted Helmet for Reach. Don’t you think that’s enough? Think about the people who never got the chance to Play Halo 2. They’re not whinning or complaining about it. Me neither, i could have played Halo MM when Halo 2 Released, but instead, my first Xbox Live Match was on Halo: Reach (On Reflection). I would really like to have played Halo 2, but i couldn’t, and you know what i said? “It doesn’t matter, if i couldn’t play it before, i will compensate it later”.

> At least giving a reason aside from “We deserve it for no reason” is childish. Greed at least has meaning to it. It’s a stupid aesthetic that brings no punctuality to the gameplay itself. Either way, it was available on Reach for a distinct amount of time. If you missed out, sucks to be you. If you think you should get it b/c “you’ve been playing forever”, well then I deserve a few guitars from Metallica or free tickets b/c I’ve been a loyal fan for so long.
Exactly! Just because people play the game doesn’t mean they deserve anything extra. Same for the argument of gameplay, what does the Flaming Helmet in Halo 3 do for you?
Here is a short list of good/bad things that the Halo 3 flames will bring.
Good:
Bad:
- Everyone in the world is forced to wear them.
- It won’t be special anymore.
- Taking 343’s time to develop a code to give the option to turn on/off would be time consuming, thus halting time on Halo CEA and/or Halo 4.
- You can get it in Halo: Reach by owning the Legendary copy.
- More childish idiots running around thinking they are pro because their heads are on fire.
- Greed will come back yet again, players will want more. As usual.
The way I see it. The bad things overtake the good things by quite a lot, and there are still plenty of other reasons that other people could think of to add to these lists.
Like I said before, people only want it because they don’t have it. If they get what they want, every Halo 3 player will be forced to wear it. I personally, would not be happy with that. I don’t know about others but I’m not looking like the rest of the Halo 3 population because some selfish little sod got greedy.
It’s not worth the time, it’s not worth the effort, it’s not worth it at all. Play with what you have, be happy with what you’ve got and stop asking for more, and this goes to everyone out there who thinks they are owed something.
