343i, please fix active camo (NOT ABOUT BALANCE/TU CHANGES)

As you may or may not know, after the beta, Bungie made the visbility levels of oneself in 1st person more exgerated than it actually was to others.

In other words: You look, say, 90% visbile to everybody else, but you only look 60% visble on your own screen.

Here’s a quick example that you can test yourself in theatere mode: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/8913/camoz.jpg

Can we please make it so you see the same thing everybody else, does, or at least make it so it’s a little less exgerated?

Ideally, it could be a feature that could be turned on or off.

I would love to see this change considering we have saw the actual Active Camo powerup will be on Beaver Creek.

However, the TU change list we have, is the final list as said by a 343i Employee on NeoGAF.

Oh, really? It seems Active Camo is far more useful than I thought… >:D

Thank you good sir, for revealing this information!! I’m really going to have fun with Active Camo now.

Admittly, it really isn’t as big as the screenshots look.

In motion, combined with the red crosshairs, the level of exgeration bungie used is actually pretty accurate of what others will be able to notice.

The issue is that we can’t judge and decide to risk the movement a bit this way. Perfereble, they remove this, making camo harder to use, and therfore balencing it, not needing to nerf it.

But i’m happy with just removing this. Ideally, it could be a feature that could be turned on or off.

I agree with this idea, because it seems ridiculous that you are being given false information from your own assets, even though I believe Camo should never have been an AA.

Thanks, I guess :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t remember what the rules for bumping are here, so if it’s not allowed, forgive me, and it won’t happen again.

Bump.

One last bump.

They need to remove the camo reduction when running completly when running with a H3 style camo pickup. It doesn’t belong there at all. There was nothing wrong with H3’s camo and it didn’t need a nerf. Same goes for camo set up in base player traits.

Also they should increase the transparecy of all camos when standing still, pretty much anyone with a 3d TV can see where you are in camo now :frowning:

Agreed on the former part, but how does a 3dtv affect anything?
