343i, please email if you make a HALO game.

This isn’t Halo.

Armour Abilities?

Power Weapons that fall from the sky?

Shotguns in your Pocket?

Perks?

The ONLY viable weapon having Bloom and ungodly bullet magnetism?

Precision Weapons beat Automatics at Melee fights?

EMPs in your pocket?

Utterly random scoring in 1/2 of the gametypes?

This isn’t Halo at all. This is some hybrid of Reach, the Halo SPINOFF, and Call of Duty. And it needs to put down.

There is no “New Halo, Old Halo” there’s Halo, and then there’s this game I, and apparently 1,900,000 other players did NOT want to waste our -Yoink- money on.

You could have included a “Classic” playlist. But you didn’t. And because you didn’t you successfully killed Halo 4.

If you want an email from them, better make sure your marketing filter is off.

Please hold your breath waiting for that email.

Pretty Please?

FYI, it is Halo, says so right on the cover. I’ve checked, and it’s the same word on the cover of all the other Halo games.

Armor Abilities (stripped out the U for great justice) are fun.
Power Weapons that fall from the sky…also fun. Could they tweak it so it’s a progression instead of a random drop? Sure.

That’s not a shotgun in my pocket, but I’m still not happy to see you either.

I like the mix-n-match of the Halo version of the perk system.

I have a positive k/d with many weapons, I have to assume there is more than 1 viable. If you mean the DMR, there is no real bloom.

AR/Suppressor own DMR/BR at close range. Seriously, read the forums and see all the try-hards complaining that the DMR/BR aren’t “teh bestorz” at every range.

Plasma Pistol has been in since Halo CE.

There was a Slayer Pro playlist. It averaged 2K people. They are still putting out a revamped one soon.

Would you like a tissue?
All scoring in the game types work as intended. it’s not random.

further more, 343 IS NOT BUNGIE. As the owners of Halo, they have the right to augment Halo to their vision. Do they have some things they could tweak a little, sure. Does that make it a bad game? Not in the slightest bit. As someone who has played every Halo since Halo CE, I can tell you that Halo has not been betrayed at all. This is a great game and honestly, all you whiney complainers are really a minority in the stats of players of this game. The majority of people enjoy Halo 4 and can’t wait to see what 343 will bring to the table with Halo 5 - 7. If you don’t like it, don’t play it. Do us a favor.

> But you didn’t. And because you didn’t you successfully killed Halo.

Fix’d.

Then why the hell are they working with the Halo IP? If they wanted to make their own game they had EVERY RIGHT to come up with something new. Instead, they are saying “-Yoink- you” to the fans of the Halo franchise, and making this -Yoink-.

Also, we are NOT a minority. The Minority are the people actually playing this god-aweful game. It sold 2 million copies, and yet the population is stuck somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 at any given point in time, which is utterly pathetic. Clearly the other 1,900,000 players don’t like this game.

You list all the things Halo is “not”, but then you don’t list/are unable to list things that Halo “is”.

If you don’t know yourself what makes a Halo game how can you say something is not a Halo game?

You people are quick to complain, but don’t even really know why you are complaining in the first place.

Don’t like it? Don’t play it.

“Boo hoo, it’s not what I like and I’m a garbage player, it’s RUINED!!!”

Hush, child.

CoD sold over 8 million copies and only 700k play at peak times.
They’ve lost 7.3 million players! OMG CoD IS TEH DYING

Clearly 7.3 million people don’t like that game…the #1 game on Xbox (Halo s all the way down at …#2…)

LOL.

Why are you guys forgetting that not everyone with an Xbox has XBL? Your MM population numbers versus Halo 4 ownership numbers fail to take into account the number of those owners that aren’t even capable of playing on XBL.

Furthermore, this is also a point where comparing XBL and PSN can vary significantly as PSN is free.

Anyway, Halo 4 has it’s quirks, but if you can’t adapt to them then you should trade your game at Gamestop and find the perfect game to suit your tastes. I hear they’re coming out with a new SIMS game soon…

Thank you for looking up the numbers and posting this. I had the exact same idea. I try to never argue opinions/taste/preferences with people as there will never be a right or wrong answer…however I can’t help but cringe when they attempt to validate their perspective with grossly flawed evidence.

See my replies in red, the game isn’t dead, if I see one more thread like this that is so porely informed and has no facts and all opinions, I swear I’m going to punch my hand through my concrete wall.

SilentA98

do you think Halo Reach is Halo 2?

Nice post. I agree.

> Power Weapons that fall from the sky?

Because power weapons spawning magically out of thin air is so much better, right?
None of the “reasons” OP listed are valid enough to disqualify Halo 4 from being a “Halo” game.
And no, Halo 4 isn’t a “Halo” game just because it says “Halo” in the title. From the universe it is set in, the fiction it is built upon, and to the characters that inhabit it, Halo 4 is as much a “Halo” game as Halo: C.E., Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, and Halo: Reach.

> The ONLY viable weapon having Bloom and ungodly bullet magnetism?

My light rifle has neither of these.

To address the population statement. Halo Reach, Halo 3, Halo 2, etc all had MP populations ranging from 10,000-100,000 at any given time. It is all dependent on the timezone some one is located, their schedule, their real life, etc. Unlike you, they don’t have their mommy taking care of them.

So please, grow up and stop whining about everything. The possibility of 343 actually caring what a loud mouthed thinks, is slim to none, almost a small and insignficant as the possibility of them going to you for Halo MP.

Halo 4 was a great game. The campaign was the best written, voiced, and composed campaign in any Halo, the graphics are gorgeous for a console title and Spartan Ops is fun (when we get more maps, it’ll be even better). However, it does lack a functioning file share system, a crippled theater, an anti-machinima stance, and it’s Forge is too smal and crowded.

Wow OP!

I wish I could make up statistics and declare doomsday prophecies in order to back up my arguments. The only thing I’m stuck with is facts.

Which leads me to my next point: You may not like Halo but that doesn’t mean that 343i killed the series or that Halo 4 is dead.

Stop being overly dramatic.
