A few months ago Bungie added this as a limited playlist. The majprity of feedback was that the game was too unbalanced. The spartans had overshields and the elites had very weak damage resistance. So instead of just buffing the elites and nerfing the spartans a little, Bungie just cast the whole idea off as a failed experiment and left the gametype to rot.

I still don’t see why they never gave it another chance. 343 please make this a playlist again! At least make it a temporrary playlist after fixing the balancing issues and see what people think because I guarantee the majority of people will love it. Show your love for FF VS here :smiley:

Yea I brought this up back on the b.net forums a while ago.

I was really excited for this gametype when it was in the beta stage (If I’m correct they offered it for a very limited time during the Beta - If I’m not, they must have offered it after Reach was released).

At any rate, I couldn’t figure out why they’d just trash it instead of tweaking it to work.
