Please update it so AI Boss points are rewarded based on two key factors: (1) landing the killing blow receives a specific percentage of the points, and (2) divide the remaining points per the percentage of damage dealt by the two teams.
Standard AI Bosses = 25 Total Points
-
15 points aka 60% gets rewarded to the team that landed the killing blow. - 10 points aka 40% gets divided up per team based on percentages of damage dealt. (Example: a team that deals 65-74% of the damaged will be rewarded 7 points)Legendary AI Bosses = 150 Total Points
-
50 points aka 33% gets rewarded to the team that landed the killing blow. - 100 points aka 67% gets divided up per team based on percentages of damage dealt. (Example: a team that deals approximately 73% of the damaged will be rewarded 73 points)This method would help to keep landing the killing blow a critical part of the reward system, but it would provide a better balance to the overall Warzone experience by reducing the randomness factor in match outcomes. Perhaps hiding the AI life bar could also be incorporated as a method to increase the importance for teamwork on taking down a boss.

50 points is pretty critical nonetheless as it’s equal to two Standard AI Bosses.
the problem with all these ‘solutions’ that everyone brings up, it ruins the point of having bosses in the first place. they are meant to be game changers, those that control the bosses can control the game. so splitting the points would soften the blow of taking a boss down. they would go from game changers to merely point boosters. so no, 343 probably wont take this idea into action. although, the very last line of your post, “Perhaps hiding the AI life bar could also be incorporated as a method to increase the importance for teamwork on taking down a boss.” is actually a great idea. many players sit on the sidelines, waiting to reap others work. they wait until the bosses life is low and spam for the final blow. if the life bar was hidden, it would be extremely hard to understand when a boss was about to go down, thus eliminating those who wait for their life to drop. but as for splitting the points, i highly doubt they will do that.

They can still be game changers while also avoiding the use of cheap tactics. Bases should act as a point multiplier to make them more useful. Having more bases will give a team more points and encourage teamwork.
Rather than players camping for the last shot on the boss, they would try to capture as much bases as they can.

That’s a horrible idea.
Winning team: “Hey, we have 2/3 bases. Let’s further cement our victory with a boss”
Losing team: “Hey, let’s give up because that boss isn’t worth very much because we only have one base.”
