As you can see from this thread, there’s a lot of demand for it. Players want PvE Warzone to happen. The lack of any kind of single-player PvE mode outside of Campaign was my biggest disappointment in Halo 5: Guardians. This game needs something to fill the void left by the absence of anything like Firefight or Spartan Ops.
I’m amazed that 343i hasn’t responded to this yet. They said before release that they’d consider a PvE-Only Warzone variant if there was a high enough demand for it. Well… as I just indicated, the demand is there, and there’s a lot of it. Please, make it happen 343i.
**EDIT:**I mean the February update, NOT Infinity’s Armory. Obviously it’s too late for them to add PvE Warzone for this month, but maybe next month…

It’s pretty incredible that you believe that it can be done in a month. Assuming they’re working on it at all.
Seriously, though. It’s not as easy as removing the opposing team and turning up the amount of AI that spawn. They would probably have to rework quite a bit of the gametype just to do what you’re asking.
I’m not saying that I don’t want it, I’m just saying that it isn’t as easy as everyone makes it seem. Unless, of course, you’d like a hackjob instead of a fleshed-out mode.
Well to be honest they put way too much emphasis off single player and campaign and put it towards warzone. Warzone is amazing but considering how many asked for massive features that would be considered a given I’m surprised they didn’t do much to cater.
I played halo 5 the other day with my internet down and it just showed how bare the game is. It’s a great game but they needed to create a list of features that make it great but have rather made a list of disappointments. Free Req dlc with forge maps isn’t the answer, still welcome, but doesn’t fix much.
I dont think it will ever happen. Look how far we are with bland dlc updates. Btb is all forge maps. They give us warzone assault for noctus in next update, why the hell wouldnt it be there in the last update?
Glad to see they are polishing that assault game mode/ What a treat. Its must be really groundbreaking.
I dig halo 5, but getting your hopes up for content not announced…
Warzone still only has two modes since launch… And while they’re both fun, if you wanted another huge version / gametype of it to play, PVE could be incredible. Imagine all heroic / legendary Covenant and Prometheans and a large three way war between them. Give the players a single life to make it fair and more evenhanded for the AI, and do it in rounds. Even three lives apiece. Could be an incredible experience!!
I’m surprised there hasn’t been any word on it. I guess classic gametypes take priority first and I’m okay with that. But a confirmation that its on their to-do list would be nice.

There has been quite a high demand for it indeed. However I doubt it will come in Feb, due to the gametype fiasco, that they are dealing with for February and March. After that is the time period when some brand new never before seen stuff could be added.
A new unique PVE mode idea: Zone of the living dead
12 Spartans set ground in a warzone map based on high charity and have to eliminate the brutes and covenant forces. Once all enemies have been dealt with the place becomes infested like High charity did in Halo 2 and waves of flood come swarming and there are limited lives like in regular firefight. As the waves progress players will be asked to complete high value objectives in different areas as ordered by Infinity and more unique bosses will spawn to spice things up, like Flood brute chieftains or flood juggernauts etc.
Objectives can include:
Saving marines trapped in holding cells like there were in H2
protecting generators
Eliminate all targets in given area
Eliminate high value covenant target

Screw a damn reqs and skins, who care about how your character looks anyway you cant even watch yourself play and thats the easiest, cheapest thing to create.Rather. focus on gameplay
