Well i mean, what do you think 343’s next video game project will be after the release of Halo: 4. Of course not talking about Halo: 5, or Halo: 6. I kind of think they should make a Halo game set in the war between the Forerunners, and the Flood. How the forerunners were caught off guard and struggled against a threat they knew nothing about.
Personally i believe we should play halo 4 before talking about this…

I wanted to make this thread since, well, 343i was designed to make Halo games. That means much more than just Halo 4, 5, and 6. I really want to experience how powerful forerunner tech is. And i don’t think they will let us play with many vehicles and weapons of pure Forerunner tech.

Oh, you just gave me another idea. Since we are going to be playing on a shield world, chief could be acting like the rookie from ODST. Chief goes to several forerunner buildings with memory files of what happened on this shield world during the forerunner world. We will get to play as a forerunner warrior during the war on the world.

Well seeing as they want to focus on the Master Chief and cortana…unfortunately probably not.

I understand but more than likely they will not make them playable.

I could see 343i doing a game inbetween chiefs like an ODST or Wars with the longer gap between 4,5,6. You could argue this will cause a lesser qualitie game from 5 and 6 but obviously the entire 343i would not be working on this.
I also expect to see a lot more in terms of books, comics and short films. This is what they did whilst Bungie was in charge, they will not discontinue such content that contributes to the Halo universe.
I think it would be awesome if they remade Halo CE but from Thel 'Vadumees point of view. Or at least a game where you play as Covenant for the campaign.
