Halo 4 has already been confirmed to have Classic variants. We need to see these variants in action to make sure that they are emulating Classic Halo gameplay from kill times to movement speeds!
This will likely be shown/talked about much later after they’ve done the thorough rundown on what Halo 4’s gameplay will be.
Before they show us the classic gameplay, we should at least see all the new things they have for us, the new weapons left, the vehicles, gametypes… and then we could see the classic things

Besides new forge clips, they should keep weapons and levels secret. A classic gametype we’ve already played so it’s not exactly a surprise.
3 melee kills w/bleedthrough, Halo 3 move speed and jump height, weapons on map, no armor abilities, perks, or sprint, 4 frag and plasma grenades max, all classic weapons and vehicles, quicker shield recharge, BR and AR starts. Aww yeah.

This is exactly what I don’t want in Halo 4’s classic playlist(s). I want Halo 4’s classic to be a natural successor to Halo 3’s, not a clone of it. Take Halo 3’s classic style and take some of the new features that has been brought in through default Halo 4 and add in the ones that compliment Halo 3’s gameplay well.
We all may not completely like the direction the franchise is going, but I don’t think any of us want to replay Halo 3 w/ every sequel that comes along when we could improve it.

I don’t see why they have to show classic gameplay. Halo 4 is about what’s new, not about a return to the past.

I don’t think it’s the same, but it’s based off of Halo 3 movement. Halo 4 movement looks better than Reach nonetheless.
Lmao at people that want this in a series of sequals. imagine if Halo had as many sequals as like final fanasty game, i bet there would be fans still wanting the same old features and gameplay. Its almost really funny, i give tons of brownie points to 343 for doing this. Im not bashing any fans but its just ammusing to me at times. I agree that it should have loadouts (there part of the game idk if it can be takin out) and everything with it, just power weapon and power up spawns.
