Please fix this mix mash of different games, we’ve got Reach, ZB Reach, Anniversary Reach, and 85% bloom Reach. ZB and 85% break the game, so please get rid of it and make it Vanilla Reach and Anniversary only. Bungie designed the game to play with bloom, trying to get rid of it or reduce it breaks the game. Please fix this problem. It’s making playing Reach frustrating, because one game you’ve got ZB, the next regular, then 85%, get rid of all this extra stuff and condense playlists please.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on that. Reach, by having all of these drastically different game modes, does what not many other games can - please all segments of its player base simultaneously. Those who want a slightly different Reach have 85%, there’s Zero Bloom for the folks who want Reach without the added filler, and we have the new Anniversary modes for people who’d prefer to take a step back in time. It works, and it works well as a system.

The fact that you say ZB and 85% break the game shows that you have 0% idea what you’re talking about. Bloom was meant to force you to pace shots at a longer distance. What ended up happening instead was people would pace shots and still get misses, the host could spam shots due to the quicker(intended) reset time, and people being able to run away in almost every situation.

While ZB makes competitive-minded players like myself happy, I have to agree with what 343i has said in the past: 85% seems to be the sweet spot. At close range you can 5 someone at a decent pace and at long range you either pace or have to crouch and zoom, thus giving up your mobility.

Also your point is invalid since the only playlist where you see mixed gametypes is the TU Beta. Anniversary is 85% bloom on the DMR, everything else is standard bad kid Reach. Maybe you’ll be more comfortable back in Team Slayer with AR starts.

ZB and Anniversary are the only modes worth playing imo.

Not if you pay attention to what playlist you selected. Dummy :stuck_out_tongue:

Any kind of random element always has the chance of going in someone’s favor.

It’s not like Reach was the first [Halo] game to do this.

I like all of the variations that are out there at this time. I like vanilla reach because that was what I was playing for a year. I got acustomed to bloom, jump height and armour abilities.

I like reduced bloom and no bloom because it increases kill times which makes for a more exciting game. With a less random aspect, there is an increase in skill gap.

I like the anniversary because it is new to me. I only played a few missions in the CE campaign when it was new. It is fun to out pistol people when you are weak. On the other hand, I can see how it would be annoying to get killed from that aswell (it hasnt happened to me yet).

I think they should keep the variety of game modes but incorporate them into all different playlists.
