343i Needs To Appologize To All Halo Fans

343i, you should be ashamed of yourselves, you have ultimately tarnished and ruined one of the most popular game franchises of the decade.
You have utterly disappointed Halo fans with your release of MCC through the vast amount of bugs still left in the system, when then you have the audacity to release the beta for Halo 5, disregarding all issues players are experiencing with your abomination of a game. Shame on you.
Why don’t you compare Halo 3 and Halo 4 and explore the vast differences that separate the games in terms of feedback and popularity. Halo 3 lasted an amazing 7 years with its flawless matchmaking design and campaign, the game that was the face of MLG, and compare that with the -Yoink!- of a game called Halo 4.

The resolution is simple, identify and fix all the bugs in the system of MCC before anything else, rely on the community to help you locate issues and problems faced within MCC until it is finished. If you don’t act fast, more and more dedicated Halo fans will ultimately disperse, reminiscing of the good times of Halo and laugh at the reputation you have given it now.

The last game I played shows the sheer lack of interest you actually have in the game, the game was I played Halo 3 team Slayer on Snowbound, of course the bugs in the system affected my game by kicking my 3 team mates and one of theirs, so pretty much a 3v1, but that’s not the thing that annoyed me, the thing that frustrated me the most was the fact the Snowbound map used was the Lone Wolves version, not Team Slayer version, this version consists of different weaponry and equipment on both sides instead of it being equal (There’s meant to be two Beam Rifles at each base but instead there’s one sniper and a spartan laser with different equipment). This sort of error isn’t isolated as this is the same for most Halo 3 maps. This negligence shows us true fans you have no idea what you are doing and that you (343i) are inevitably going to sink Halo along with your company.

Now to help you out, these are the issues with MCC I have found:

> Slow matchmaking search times (Halo 3 on X360 is still faster)
> Games consistently don’t load
> Teams are still matched unevenly i.e; 3v5 or 1v3
> Can’t start matchmaking with other friends in lobby “One or more players aren’t ready to start”
> Horrible connection most games
> Losing my rank in H2A from 38 now I’m a 1 (This has happened to many people)
> Players can still boot/end games
> H2A matchmaking teams are usually unfair i.e; all good players are put on one team
> Sometimes I can’t even load matchmaking, it says “Downloading last matchmaking updates”…
> Getting stuck in Postgame lobbies, unable to leave unless restarting game
> Postgame stat reports have errors in “Killed Most” and “Killed By” parameters.

If you continue with the way you are going about developing the next stories of Halo, you will ultimately bring down this incredible gaming franchise along with your company until you have completely ruined it and become bust.

The ball is in your court 343i, at the moment the fate of the Halo franchise lies in your hands…

Agreed, so many little errors that still need fixed…

Also, please add other playlists & more ranked game types…

Would love to have: Team Objective
BTB Ranked (Every game I join at least 1+ players leave or get butt hurt and quit out)
Halo 4

Also, a little clarity on when the next update will be or if you have just completely given up or stopped trying due to the Halo 5 Beta being out!

Completely agree, this is beyond a disgrace.

I really thought they were going to keep working on it until it was fixed. Not perfect, but very functional. It’s obvious now that the only time we will hear from 343 going forward will be to promote Halo 5…which I am now gravely concerned about. I really just can’t believe they blew it this bad. So disappointed.

They have been doing that though - they have apologised on multiple occasions via team members and blog posts, offered compensation and provided weekly (with the exception of last week) content updates, I’m not sure what else you expec them to do. “Fix it faster” is nice in theory, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work that way.

Posted these in another few threads, but it’s relevant to here to i’ll post again with some extra info: (I edited some of the quotes and changed some info)

> Plenty of issues have been addressed through the various content updates, though as is the nature of software fixing one thing often can break something unrelated. They have a hard line to walk here as half the community want updates almost daily and the other half wasn’t one big fix all, so i imagine they are going for a medium with weekly. A lot of the fixes will be dependent on what can be pulled together in time* and passed for certification, messing it may not be entirely possible to day what they week be able to address week to week. Patching is not an easy progress by any means and you’ll find that some bigger issues will have to wait until other changes have been put in place. *also worth noting that 343 will most likely have to co-ordinate with the teams that ported the various games and United Front Games who designed the UI, I think a lot of people forget there were quite a few games companies involved in this project

> They’re not, there is a content update in the works for releasing soon. I expected to see it early this week, but perhaps they wanted to spend a little more time on this one before pushing it out.

> Considering we had an update for the Halo 5 beta on New years day (putting aside this was for Halo 5 and not MCC), I think it’s safe to say they have been working hard through the holidays. If they had time off, it sounds like it wasn’t a lot and probably closely rotational

Maybe they should do a short blog post or Sprint episode about CU’s and what goes in to getting them released? Like processes, timescales, factors that can cause delays, who’s involved and at what stages? It would at least be something that people could refer out to others and would certainly give folk a better insight into how these things are built up and deployed

I think as the average consumer we are in fact entitled to not give a f**k about such processes and just play the game we spent good money on.

There are an insanely lenient group of people on these forums that are being inexplicably supportive of a game developer that has a) released an unfinished, broken product; b) seemingly ignored its fans/consumers in addressimg such issues (where’s the updates/feedback from 343??) and c) almost ruined one of the most popular game franchises ever made.

Seriously, this could have been the greatest multiplayer game ever if multiplayer would just work as its supposed to - and in fairness we expect it to.
