Hey it’s ok to feel different just because most people don’t enjoy something doesn’t mean everyone feels the same way. Halo 5 offered players a new look and feel playing Halo which was amazing. Like 343 did amazing job at making players feel like a super soldier with the 007 gameplay experience and making sure the maps work with the new gameplay. In Halo 5 everyone had the same tools unlike Reach and Halo 4. Which brings in a unique gameplay experience for the player. Personally I always found it stupid how a in every Halo game you never felt like a super soldier but in Halo 5 you do which is awesome.
But hey for old classic gameplay fans that like walking around and having weapons that don’t even make since in Halo, Sci-Fi Universe, or even future combat. That’s what MCC was for the type of players that want to stay in the past and have fun and players that want something different can have fun with Halo 5.
But unfortunately that didn’t work out which is another reason why Halo is dying as a whole because the gameplay experience is just boring and never changes enough for those to come from other games and have fun.
Like all 343 has to do is make a different mode that’s not Arena gameplay and make the weapons and gameplay make since and not have Human Armory OP like in every Halo game and give people the customization to create their own unique experience for the whole Halo Universe and not just Spartans and Humanity. Because as of right now Halo will continue to die out if 343 continues to go down this route.
But apparently they don’t love it enough anymore to give it a 120fps update for Series consoles.
When this should be a simple matter of changing some settings around, no technical reason they couldn’t do it. But for some reason they shut down the possibility of upgrades for 5 before the new consoles even came out
I doubt it’s Slipspace engine could even handle 120 fps. Plus, 343 is changing Infinite’s engine to Unreal in the future from what I remember by the rumors.
As it is true, Spartans were much easier distinctive from each other in Halo 5. There aren’t many options in Infinite that stand out besides the chest piece and helmet. Everything else is just gloves and knees. I don’t find that next-gen customization, I call that Reach customization copy-n-paste.
Halo 5 MP was and still is a golden standard for arena/competitive shooters. But unfortunately it “died” out pretty fast (3 years?) cause most of you all can’t accept that a saga is going to change after 15/20 years in the making
On schedule???
No Forge at launch
No custom game browser at launch
No BtB at launch
No Dev made Btb maps…ever
Broken custom games at launch
Broken theater for the entire life span of the game…
My furry…come on,
I’ve seen your other posts where you’re talking about confirmation bias and the irony is so thick I can shovel it…
H3 with over a million active players per day for three straight years while H5 couldn’t keep over 50,000 players 8 months after launch would like a word with you
to be fair the xbox one was kinda crap, i think more people would be playing 5 if they got even more support on the new consoles. i think you also have to see all the changes and additions it made, like the thrusters, clamber, and other new spartan abilities, enemies and weapons getting reworked, warzone and breakout, and imo a massive improvement over 4s art style. all these things seem good but i think the xbox one itself was holding 5 back.
Back in the day, I was one of the people who was very upset that Warzone replaced traditional BTB, and I heavily advocated for 12v12 BTB instead. I thought Warzone was too mutch of a departure from Halo’s traditional formula.
I’m eating my words today. Infinite has fun gameplay (when it’s working) for sure! But losing Warzones huge maps, inclusion of AI, and enormous sandbox just wasn’t worth the 4 BTB maps with limited sandbox we’ve gotten.
Infinite’s BTB is a more balanced experience than Warzone, but it’s scope and scale is just tiny compared to Warzone
