HEY, 343 I’m not sure if you are aware of this yet but you have a glitch in your system allowing people to download the Crimson map pack for FREE. When you go on to Halo 4’s Main menu and launch the market place from it, it shows the new content as free and anyone can down load for nothing. I would be looking into this and would be fixing that ASAP.
On the Market place it shows it selling for 800 points.
Best of luck -

AS a side note I have a game type idea / already made by me that I would love discussing with all of you
LOL you honestly think theyre personally or going to talk with you at all about some map/gametype you made? youre funny. And noone likes a tattle tail.
> Tempted… not sure If I want to risk a permanent account ban…
How can they ban anyone? I got on Halo4 to play saw a gold star for marketplace clicked on it and downloaded something that says its free. What did I or anyone else do wrong?.
It’s free for almost everyone…I’m downloading it right now. This is either a huge mistake by someone at MS, or they are being hella generous.
If it’s a mistake and you don’t have the LE or map pass, I would expect them to just disable to maps. They aren’t going to ban anyone for downloading something that said it was free.
Now if they used some network trickery or other nefarious means to download the maps free, that’s a different story.
At worst, expect not to be able to play the maps later on. At best, enjoy and the owners of the pass/LE might get a refund for this one…
who knows though. If they were to hand out bans, there would most definitely be a lawsuit

> Why would they ban someone for their stupidity? It’s not my fault if I click on the content and the price is free.
Because it’s the consumers fault for hitting Confirm on something you know is suppose to cost 800 MS points, and you know it’s a glitch if it’s available for free.
I’m not downloading it. Not risking my account.
Oh and, this happened before and people got banned.
“There was a rash of bannings following FIFA 10’s Ultimate Team DLC release after players found a glitch that allowed them to download it for free. Those who did so were promptly banned for ‘marketplace theft’.”
