343i, join in progress.

I don’t mind it that much but I think there should be an option. I myself do not want to join a game that’s already started. Other people don’t care and that’s fine. Just my two cents.

I would prefer a toggle on or off option as i dont much care for joining games, I always seem to end up on a team getting demolished. not to mention the amount of double xp games wasted by joining a game near the end.

Good idea, I’d be for it and see no logical reason why not. I also think, though, that it needs to be quicker and more reliable. When my teams beasting and I lose a player . . . I’d expect one to fill in very quickly . . . instead of a few minutes later when we’re now getting beat. Also, when the game starts uneven 3vs2 (which shouldn’t happen to begin with) the team of two should not magically get two players quickly and the team of three be left out to dry (or die in this case).

yeah, I had a total of about of 30, and I got a use of maybe 12, because of the join in progress. because of all the games I ended up joining the teams where my team was 100vs500

JIP does not work well with the other MM mechanics. If a player joins a game in progress there is a significant chance that the other team has control over the map, power-weapons, and has ordinance on standby. Yes, there is a small chance you can still win but the playing field was uneven as soon as you got JIP’d which in turn gives you in a sense of picking up a mess that you didn’t create in the first place. It just doesn’t work for this game. Maybe for Social playlists which are non-existent but as for general competitive play…absolutely not. If they apply JIP to the ranked playlists coming in January Halo 4 will die, Halo 5 will be a zombie, and 6 will be an arcade game for 1200 MPs.
