Yeah, the thing is reach and 3, even to an extent 4 and 5 gave you trophy armor for specific things, which makes you subconsciously feel all the time you spend in the game doing whatever was worth it or provided value.
(The halo 3 Katana is the best example because you need to be fairly well rounded imo to get it, which is obtained at 1000G)
It gave a reason to play because you’d hear about other people who got something very hard to get which made you want to chase after it as well. Halo infinite relies off short term fomo instead of long term goals.

I try to stay optimistic and positive about this game I really do, and sorry for going off topic but I achieved 152 and I’m still upset how that coating looks. I did however buy my wife that OPI nail polish and that armor coating (granted it’s sparkling purple) looks better than alot of them and that was as easy as getting online and buying something. 152 was not an EASY feat

Yeah, I was expecting that in 6 months they would fix the coating, this has reeled me back a little into control and has slowed my grind because I know its going to take me as long to hit SR 152 as it will for them to fix a simple coating.
Probably just as long you are right

I was hitting .2% a day which is pretty decent for my very strict schedule so i was trying to push it, getting double, maybe a full percent and sometimes when i got sick and no lifed it, 2% in a day.
I don’t need that crazy progress. But I still feel like I’m kicking myself when i dont hit at least .4% a day.
Just a sidenote, I’d get like a point percentage an hour, meaning i was only playing for like 4 hours max just trying to open boosts as quick as possible.

Yeah buddy it’s not easy, I know. Are you sure you will get the coating? Post release
Definitely if it takes them until S3 to fix it, either way I’ll be at it for as long as it takes because they still let you unlock it
