Most of the people on the forums have nothing better to do than sit at there computers all day and complain about how 343i is killing Halo. If you would all just shut the **** up and wait until you get the game, it might not be as bad as you think. Like Frankie said, without playing the game, he doesn’t blame you for jumping to conclusions. That right there means you have no idea what you are talking about, so quit complaining until you get the game. When you play it for yourself and you don’t like it, then you will have a real reason to complain because you will have experienced it for yourself, so quit complaining and wait 8 months for the game like the rest of us before you decide whether you like it or not.
343i can’t make the game perfect. They can’t just make the game based off of what a couple of people want, because you have the people who love Halo 2 and 3 and want it like that, and then you have the people who love Reach and want it to be like that and like the changes. Personally, I love them all, just not ODST. So never expect Halo 4 to be perfect. Never expect a game to perfect. I’s not possible because not everybody wants the same stuff in the game.
So, instead of complaining about how much you hate 343i and Halo 4, and about how the future of Halo is ruined, wait until you play the game for yourself and see if you like it then.
Please, don’t kill these forums anymore with complaining. The game is about 8 months away, and that’s plenty of time for 343 to make changes if they want to.

I made a most about this, and the irony is they are just making CAD OF DOTY look better. It’s funny.
Yet if people want to complain without having a single shred of experience let them. If they miss out on something fun and cool then it’s on there own accord. Not 343’s Microsofts of mine. I’ll enoy the game, and I bet a huge amount of folks will enjoy it.
What we know is like looking at Flatland. A single 2D world. And without knowing more depth we are jumping to the conclusion it has no other elements and dementions. When in reality Halo 4 is a 3D world. Yet GOKU forbid we wait for stuff.

I love Sprint, and for AAs, I hate Armor Lock, and they never mentioned that one. X-Ray vision may get annoying, but it will stop those who like to camp and wait with an Energy Sword and kill people when they come around the corner. It will stop a lot of noob tactics.

Quit telling us to play the game. If it is bad then we obviously don’t want to fuel it by paying for it. There is no point in wasting our money on garbage.

I hate countdown arena for that single purpose. I want to see how these things work at a high level of gameplay. It needs to be just as useful when playing against your better than average player.
OP has never been more correct. They’re not ruining Halo. It’s their game now. They can do what they want with it. Sure, they’re changing some things, but it’s the community’s fault for immediately perceiving these changes as bad. Who knows, guys, maybe you’ll really like Halo 4. All the stubborn kids need to open their minds and quit thinking “HALO 4 IS DEAD I’M SO DONE!!!1!”. They should instead be more mature and rational and think: “Hmmmm, there are a lot of new additions. I’m not sure if I’m going to like these changes, but I really shouldn’t judge the game yet. Let’s just wait and find out”. Don’t judge the new changes until you’ve played it yourself, people. If everybody in the community had that way of thinking, and learned to tolerate the changes to Halo 4, that would show that how “good” the game is is up to the community. It’s not 343’s fault. It’s the community’s fault for crying about something they know very, very, very little about.

Once I see a full clip of gameplay I will know for sure what Im talking about. Nearly everything announced has been terrible. So it’s safe to say that Halo 4 is going in a direction that I do not like and that I would not spend my money on.
I’m not really that angry about the AAs still being in, but rather the dropping of power weapons at random spots on a map. That’s just asinine. I’m going to venture a guess and say it runs of a percentage of who is losing the match and puts the power weapon drop on the losing teams side to give them a leg up.
