I can’t help but wonder why there has yet to be a double req point or even double xp weekend. I would think that such an event could only benefit the game by providing players an incentive to play and increase the game’s population. And before everyone starts saying that it is because the company just wants us to buy our req packs, I hardly think that allowing a single weekend of double points would make any sort of dent in the cash inflow due to req pack sales. Thoughts?
Side note: If a lot of people keep posting on this thread, 343i may notice it and a double req point weekend could happen (one can hope).

great idea OP, earning req points is painfully slow! they should at least give more per game
They should have something like this for Arena players.
Would like double req and/or xp weekend or week (please) across all game types and not just a single game mode.
I want double RP Warzone and Double XP Arena weekends. I think that would be perfect. The Arena players get the XP and warzone get the RP.

I completely agree with you. If players really want to unlock all of the armor, helmets, etc in any reasonable time, then they must play Warzone almost exclusively.
Double RP would cut into their REQ pack sales. Don’t count on it.

I really doubt that a single weekend of double RP/XP would make any sizable dent in their req pack sales.
This is an absolutely BRILLIANT idea OP.
Plus, that would more likely make people return to Halo 5 than a meaningless XP boost. Let’s face it, spartan rank is practically useless in this game. Any promotion packs you get are just scout warthogs and other garbage haha. If people found out that they would get 2X REQ POINTS they would probably flood back in.
I mean, that’s about a gold pack every 2 Warzone games! That’d be A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I would love double RP weekends for Warzone and double exp for arena. I feel like people who play arena only do so not for the rp so the boost of experience would be nice. Those who play Warzone do so for the req points so doubling then would be nice.
I don’t even own an Xbox One anymore, but I have to say, fantastic idea!
