I can tell you how to nearly double the size of forge world with very, very little work.

Forge World is nearly 50% water and Bungie has already created terrain graphics for sand for the area beneath the water. If you can remove the water and the kill area associated with water we will have massive sand dunes to forge with.

This would create lots of new forging spaces that have a new look to the terrain similar to sandtrap. If you don’t believe me check out my recent screenshots, http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/Screenshots.aspx?player=Evsen. I have found a glitch to view the area under the water as it would look without the water. As you can see the graphics aren’t perfect but, are good enough for a free single map dlc.

Doing this very easy task opens up lots of new direly needed forging spaces, please consider it.

What if some people like to use the water in their forge maps? As in making levels above the water to keep players from falling.

Bungie gave a usa great forge map. It allows up to use our imagination and creativity to be able to design the levels we needed to. I think it’s perfect. It seems pointless to release a new map just to have no water.

This would be a new free dlc contaning just SandWorld. SandWorld wouldn’t overwrite ForgeWorld. This way when making a map you can choose which to use. So if you want to use sand dunes and all the new areas use load up SandWorld but, default Forge World with water is available.

I forge a ridiculous amount and if you don’t use terrain at all it doesn’t matter if would be just as perfect if it was empty space for you to build, to say the limited terrain they gave us was perfect seems a bit silly, it was great and a huge step forward but is still limited terrain wise and doubling the amount of terrain doesn’t seem pointless to me.

Always one for new and more Forge maps and items.

If it can be done, please do it.

Be awesome.

If you ask me, this could be done very simply by allowing players to somehow Forge the water level. While complicated, I think it is doable, and would be very helpful to all users. If you want the Pillar to become a small island, just bring the water height up to it.

Wow, this is genius. Very little work and very large reward.

How do you know that? There isn’t just a button that says remove water, it’s alot more then that, editing such a map and then releasing for free is rediculous. That many hours of work and labor in which is all for a pointless effort. Forgeworld is all we need. Forgeworld allows for imagination and creativity to come out of yourself and be able to use it to built your map. If you don’t have that creative process, you can’t be a forger.

Whoa! Calm down bro! This is is simply saying “Hey guys! I have an idea!” and your saying “WTFOMGBBQ NO NO NO NO! THAT IDEA SUCKS!” I thought it was a rather good idea, imo. However you do have a point. Maybe 343i can release a dlc with a new forge world similar to sandbox? Who knows! Just dont be so closed minded.
