We would really love Marty O’ Donnell to compose music for the next halo games. Halo 4 just didnt feel like halo at all, the music is too bland and no punch for the people playing on the campaign. Take it from me, the original composers music really makes the Game Beautiful and complete. Marty had a particular style that could really touch the souls of the players , it was UNIQUE and portrayed halo in a way that no other could replicate. 343i said it themselves that they will give the fans what they want. Everybody please support the cause, lets petition 343i to bring back Marty so halo feels complete and satisfying again !
I would love for Marty to return for H6, but I’m not going to petition for it. And as much as I love Marty’s work, it didn’t really detract from the campaign as much as I expected. Once I got over Marty’s absence I really began to enjoy H4’s music.

I agree I miss the old halo music expecially from halo ce
Kazuma Jinnouchi is doing Halo 5’s soundtrack.
And the tracks he did for Halo 4 are among the best for that game that I think only Neil Davidge’s “Arrival” track rivals his.
If you don’t have faith in Kazuma’s style… Let me just say… 117.
As much as I love Marty’s music, it got the point where every song was just a slightly different version of another song. Halo 3 had barely any tracks that didn’t sound identical to tracks from CE and 2. I mean they’re great tracks, every stinking one of them, but it became tedious at times hearing the same suites over and over.
Halo 4’s music was pretty darn good. It paired nicely with the type of story they were telling. I couldn’t picture Marty’s music in Halo 4 any more than I could picture Davidge’s music in Halo 2.
That said, I do think 343 needs to try a little harder to work in the classic Halo theme every now and again. The short bit in the opening scene of “Composer” was awesome, but not really enough. If they just used that harmonized vocalization more frequently, it would be awesome.
Really? Is it just me but halo 2’s music is just slightly altered hce music. Same with h3. And it got annoying. h4’s music wasnt the best but i really liked some of the tracks. i dont know there names so…

Marty was given his job back at bungie. From my knowledge and research, the court pretty much told bungie they have no choice but to hire him back.
