I mean we should be able to earn our rewards and not buy them. I think they are doing this to get some money back which I can see why because maybe not a lot of people or not enough people bought the Campaign. They shouldnât do this for long, they just need to make it earnable and make multiplayer not free. Free sounds nice but free comes with a costâŠWe should also have the ability to turn off cross play. That are the 2 main things that bother meâŠThe money spending and not having the ability to turn off cross play. I know lol! I can hear someone saying it right now lol, âyou forgot about Xpâ well thatâs another story lol. I can see why everyoneâs upset but Iâm not hating themâŠ

Halo infinite had so much potential. and yet they trashed the franchise. Iâm not paying a dime till they fix the game. all 343 wants is money and Iâm not giving it to them.

Not sure if their exactly the problem, it could also be part that the way the video game industry is heading.
Forreal I am a disappointed on what Halo has become but we are part of the issue as well. Like hell every seem to cave in with cat ears. (just fyi I want these too) but they are dam expensive. There is so much restrictions for customization and the shop is overpriced on simple things like color and old armor sets.

I agree with you but like 343 had like 6 yrs to make halo infinite and its still an incomplete mess of a game. Lots of content are missing. ;-;

Anyone claiming the ridiculous monetization scheme enacted through MicroTransactionsoftâs never ending greed and 343iâs unwillingness to push back (Thanks Bonnie) are mental.
Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear can tell just how âBeneficialâ this fiasco has been to the frankenstein-esque abomination which used to be known as the Halo franchise.

Donât even get me started with Scarlet wake. Ring sold three different times.
Remebr Halo 5 had 60 default colors.
343 literally gave us 10 of those free, and are selling us the other 50.
And want to know the real kicker⊠Anyone who has bought an armor coating., When the new Armor core comes out⊠Your gonna have to re buy the same color again if the current model remains.

How on earth do they justify charging players 20 bucks to get 1 armor affect and 1 emblem⊠Yes 1 emblem just cus they locked it into 4 catigories doesnât make it 4 items⊠They seriously pulled that scummy move.

itâs not only 343iâs true colors, itâs the AAA gaming industrys true colors. and why wouldnât they be doing that? gamers obviously donât have self control and spend a lot of money on MTs, battlepasses, etc. sure there is a lot of complaint but that is also coming from people supporting this kind of rip-off by purchasing MTs. just look at how many people are using different skins in infinite.
thanks to the armor customizaton almost exclusivly (at least the good stuff) being tied with the premium battle pass, we now see the people stupid enough on spending money on battlepasses.
the possible ways i could see for anything changes, is people stop spending on MTs (very unlikely, bc obviously no self control), the market crashes like in the 80s (i think) or goverments starting to realise the potential danger and psychological manipulation going on with MTs and they start baning them (most likely scenario)

Take what I say with a grain of salt since Iâm no developer or economist or whoever really comes up with these microtransaction schemes. I know they work, people buy from them and Infiniteâs is no different. But I question why individual items canât be purchased at far more reasonable prices?
Sure, a whale will buy an armor set bundle for $20. But Iâd rather have 20 people buy it at $3 and potentially be repeat customers. Things like emblems and coatings should be super cheap, maybe not even more than a $1. Toss in something like how Eververse in Destiny 2 has which is a part of the store where you can use an earnable in-game currency to buy select items each week. Yeah, Iâll admit itâs a bit FOMO, but I unlocked so many weapon and armor ornaments that way.

The game is fantastic. The store, ranking system (much prefer an overall military-style ranking system like in MCC), battle pass are needing work, but Iâm confident come season 2 it will be better.
You clearly havenât played every other free-to-play fps out there, because the launch of Infinite has been a masterpiece compared to everybody else. GameInformer wrote a huge article on this fact. You should read it.

Como que la gente se frustra con el negocio de comprar cosmĂ©ticos, y lo que me doy cuenta es que 343 tiene y esta en su derecho de reĂrse en la cara de quienes sugieren que les vendan otras cosas mas âtrabajadasâ es decir estĂĄn quejĂĄndose por un problema que hace 10 años no existĂa⊠Es mĂĄs pediamos a gritos cosmĂ©ticos y mĂĄs cositas de personalizaciĂłn. Ahora que tenemos eso y OJO! RECALCO NO AFECTA AL JUEGO (ES SOLO COSMETICO). Toda la comunidad esta descontenta? NO yo con lo Ășnico que estoy descontento es que en halo reach podĂas personalizar las piezas y montarte tu aberraciĂłn de spartan alguno mas feo que otro pero existĂa, era divertido, estaba al alcance de cualquier jugador solo tenĂas que conseguir puntos jugando.
Repasar vuestras vidas seguidores de halo como aclama el que creo este post. Por que os estais equivocando terriblemente como cortana y os pasara lo que le paso a ella en el juego tal cual. The start of infinite was not even close to a masterpiece, compared to ALL other Halo parts, this is the saddest thing that was delivered next to Halo 4 and Halo 5, both multiplayer and campaignâŠ

I beg to differ. The standard Mjolnir helmet, MASTER CHIEFâS helmet is locked behind the battle pass paywall. How can it be we now have to PAY to get the STANDARD helmet we got for FREE in Halo:CE thru Halo 4? The armor is locked into the battle pass you have to pay for. Sure, you get free cosmetics, XP boosts and challenge swaps, but the armor you have to pay for.
And Iâm so used to buying battle passes thanks to every other game in the last five years, I bought it without thinking. Didnât notice until after.
