I totally agree every single point!
It’s just sad to see all the problems even after the „launch“ which was a disaster.
I play this game since I was 6 years old with my older brother…
This campaign I played on legendary was very good tho,
but the actual halo feeling is what I can’t really feel.
Profit, profit, profit… when did I ever pay a cent to get any armor in halo? What the f
343 what about the armor challenges from older halos? What about taking us the M6H Magnum?
Where is the shotty? What have you done with the desync in this game ?
Are you guys (343) just sitting there watching all the problems ? What about fixing them ?
Why are you taking so many great features from past halos and throwing them to us piece by piece(and not even that ……you try to make candy of sh*t)
and then you pretend it’s an accomplishment to add slayer swat and ffa playlists. Get your greed for profit finally under control before the whole game is ruined even more
It’s just a mess.
I thought 52.000 hours of time u guys had is very frustrating to see what you actually reached in this period of time.
blah blah blah nostalgia nonsense and hurt feel feels and child hood etc
same crap every forum man.
These are corporations.
Your beloved experience as a child was a PRODUCT that you were too young to understand at the time.
Welcome to the filth of the world and how things truly work.
I’m just glad that it’s not pay to win like call of duty.
I remember when the only cosmetics you had was changing your color. The game is practically free and the money has zero effect on game mechanics. Bunch of babies.
Alas, I am unhappy I’ve bought into the Battlepass, but at least that seemed reasonable to a point. As soon as I saw $20 armor sets, I am not spending another dime on the game until they address the pricing.
Got the premium battle pass and some other store cosmetics. If I like it I’ll buy it
Something they could have easily done is made the free to play version just have color customization while you can buy seasonal passes for armor unlocks you’d earn through ingame play. Instead they butchered the season pass and progression, then put a massive price tag on everything while inventing this need for challenge swaps. Microsoft isn’t willing to allow 343 to employ their workers, rather have them contract labor and cut ties as soon as the project is over, meanwhile charging astronomical prices like this. Ridiculous.
ill just be honest here
i could really careless if they added microtransactions into halo infinite
they need to make money some how and they aint just going to let everything free and stop listening to the redditards online saying how microtransactions in a free to play games is somehow ruining gaming
this isnt a full 60 dollar game with microtransaction in it and you better be glad the multiplayer is free to play and not a 60 dollar payed game since that would be bs
plus you guys are just arguing about not being able to customize something that isnt going to effect the gameplay not to mention you cant see the armor your wearing whenever your playing a pvp match or some crap
do i believe they can improve the microtransactions with the feedback
yes i do believe they can add another currency system that players can unlock by playing the game like how reach did it
but do i believe they should remove the microtransactions entirely ?
no
this isnt halo 5 with overpowered weapons behind lootboxes this is just pure cosmetics that does not effect the gameplay
I’m dropping some fat stacks when the autojerk/ejaculation armor pack gets released.
It’s crazy how fort it’s makes the color coating skin and for weapons universal and don’t try reselling you red for each weapon…
Halo took the 48 default colors from 5 have us 10 and are noq trying to sell us the other 38… They couldn’t even be more creative so they said naw let’s resell them generic colors to buy us time to make actual interesting costings.
I doubt 343 would actually do anything to purposely hurt the franchise, but the issue is still kind of sore. Please don’t assume that 343 did something just to get money. And remember that the bad may have some good in it.
Buddy, they made it so that even if you bought HAZOP you couldn’t actually wear it unless you bought the premium pass and unlocked the right armor core. So that became a $30 purchase just to use one armor.
But you act like they have no feelings for the franchise, and this is their master plan.
I mean, clearly they think doing that is okay since they allowed it. They also felt selling the same recruit blue color under a different name for $8 was okay too. I doubt they want to hurt the game on purpose, but what person sees these things happen and goes “Yeah, that’s fair for the fans.”
This isn’t some conspiracy, we’re not dealing with an Austin Powers esque villain. It’s a video game for crying out loud. As much as all of us love Halo, it’s just a video game at the end of the day. It’s also pretty obvious that Microsoft handles a lot of the monetization aspects for the studios under its banner (Gears 5 for example before the store got revamped after criticism). It’s clear that 343 loves Halo and have tried to get this game right and it would be a lot better if MS wasn’t hanging over them similar to Bungie back in the old days (ODST pricing, paid map packs, etc.)
Ske7ch talked about the monetization system as being a way to get money while being free to play. Remember, those servers cost money. And in a recent video we had members of 343 talking about how they knew a lot of Halo fans wouldn’t be happy with the changes they made. These things weren’t done to benefit us.
“Us” is the key word here. it wasn’t done to benefit US but the Franchise.
Im pretty sure they started doing this when they literally had collabs with EVERYONE in Halo 4 lol. 7/11 for the locus helmet, like 30 preorder bonuses… it was a headache and its good to see that carried over to infinite (sarcasm lol). I love knowing I will never be able to have an orange spartan with a red shoulder because I didnt buy some cookies a year ago!
Also all the weird spinoff games like spartan assault were def cash grabs even though im not sure who played them, plus the numerous failed shows, mini movies and halo app that died in a few months.
It was done for money. Wether or not that helps the franchise we can debate, but money was the reason. Ske7ch pretty much said as much in his long drawn out message on Reddit.
I wasn’t saying that it wasn’t done for money, but it wasn’t done just because of currupt managers and heads. It was done because of the HUGE budget this game had, and 60 a pop might have not covered it.
