343i has had time to have fun

343i has had a lot of time to make this game better so it could be a strong possibility that Halo 4 will have allot more maps than Reach (hopefully) at lunch and they maybe already working on DLC for the game. If you have heard some of the Spark Cast and read some articular it points to 343i having a not only finished product but having every developers dream. Free time. This allows 343i to do more testing and add in new features balance weapons so on. Which means when it hits retail it will be very balanced and very fun. My point is that allot of what we have heard such as Spartan Ops might have never been in there if they didn’t have the time or might have been DLC not free content (at least the fist missions of it). As well AAs might be more balanced and better incorporated into the game. My point is 343i has been fine tuning this game and might just be the best Halo yet.

Wow u are my best friend ever!!! NO but seriously, u brought up a good point. They’ve been having a lot of time to tune the game. They said they’d love for it to be the first game the was glitch free, kind of impossible though, In my opinion but hey who knows! I don’t know about the game being as balanced as it used to but just as good /:stuck_out_tongue: only noobs are haters

Yes, he brings up a good point! I like the OP. I mean, Halo 4 is almost finished and they wouldn’t just twiddle their thumbs or stick their heads in the sand.

Me too and I had dinner a couple of hours ago…

-_-

True and not true. I can guarantee they were working on Halo 5 halfway through the development of 4.

This. Its the only way they can keep the future installments at the highest quality  This trilogy really will be the best one in terms of polish

Ok.

I hope it’s a good halo game, and what I’m hoping for more is that matchmaking is bug and glitch free, convenient, and has little to no JTAG.

You do realise it’s almost impossible to JTAG now right?

This thread made me rage.

wouldn’t be so sure. Although its impossible to do it Online, its still entirely Possible to do it offline, and no matter what Microsoft does to stop this, they will not succeed, there will always be that guy doing things in the background, sorta like me and Modding Reach, Offline of course, I use it for Machinima, and besides the Terms of Use simple say that you are not aloud to modify the game Online, and ruin Online play for everyone.

Well it would only happen if 343 don’t spend all there spare time eating dohnuts or derpin around spinning in there chairs, hopefully the map count will be double reach’s…hopefully.

Perhaps the game is almost done content-wise and playability-wise, but the Sparkcasts always mentioned that they builds they were playing still had a fair amount of unfinished and placeholder content, and that the game still had a lot of polishing to do.

I hope so

I assume their will be a good amount of maps since that was a highly criticized point about Reach from release.

Well, if you include the Forge maps that came with Forge World, Halo: Reach had 14 maps at launch, which means it had more than any Halo game before it.

(Halo CE: 13
Halo 2: 12
Halo 3: 11)

Then maybe the lack of good maps according to the community.

I thought Asylum was pretty good.

Problem is, a lot of the Reach maps encourage extensive amounts of camping(Looking at you, Reflection).

4.5 years dev cycle plus a year of prototyping? you bet it will be awesome

Yeah Asylum was my favourite map from the launched game. I do really enjoy most of the dlc maps.
