In my opinion 343i took this monthly update as a way of watching their step. Analyze the fanbase, stats, etc etc and give them what they want. Instead releasing everything initially not knowing what the reception would be. For a developer like 343i, its good that they did this. Their new to an amazing and well known franchise. Dont made sure not to screw things up.
But now that these updates are coming out, halo will soon be complete. A fresh new PvP arena style multilayer we all love in our Halo’s, along with BTB, social and ranked playlists. Awesome custom games with infection, race obviously coming in hog wild, griffball etc. A forge that just keeps getting better. Firefight for our PvE players. And Warzone. A new addition. I can say im satisfied with my purchase. It was worth it. I almost gave up on 343i but thank you guys
They already killed the game by releasing it half finished. If Halo 6 launches with everything that Hall 5 has and then some then maybe Halo 6 will be able to succeed.
It’s hard for a franchise to survive after three flops in a row (Halo 4, MCC, and Halo 5). I do truely believe that Halo can come back, 343i just has to take their heads out of their -Yoinks!- and make a good game.
I have a feeling halo 6 is going to be the best halo. They got the gameplay down pat in 5 and yes they screwed up the way you unlock armor but they can take all the little minor problems and make halo 6 the best halo of all time.
The community is smaller but it will grow. I see new players online everyday who are just starting. Yes, we lost players because 343i did not include everything in the beginning but those were the people who would have left anyways. Players on Halo MCC are purchasing halo 5 and im sure there are still people who play the xbox 360 halos who will swap over.
343i not the best not the worst. Monthly updates killed the comunity early on. It was far too boring to play when I first got the game (launch date). Now that the new game modes are coming in I feel like its too late to revive the community as a lot have left since launch day. I’m not saying its a bad game but i am saying that they shouldn’t have released a 40% complete game.
I like to think of it this way 343i has a new engine up and running putting all this in here a little at a time is not a bad thing hard to see what people like most when you give them the whole lot. Kind of a way to trim the fat. Also on top of all of that they have been adding new things hell I love war zone think it’s one of the best things every added to multipplayer can’t wait to see how this game adapts and evolves from here making halo 6 that much better
Not only that, but i343 is not newbies, I imagine there are quite a few industry veterans in there. Most are probably new to developing Halo but I think a fair amount has actually played the games, or atleast one game.
343 have shown that the new halo(can we call it something else) is their own, from the power ranger Spartans, to the lego duplo color palette it has been remade for a wider audience (cough MICROSOFT CASH COW cough) and that truly saddens me as the only people that reappear time and time again are franchise veteran’s who keep getting kicked in the **** and told their gritty, save earth by blowing -Yoink- up, mysterious scary flood game is now: bright colourfull “look at how bright and pretty that tree is! What? You want the flood? That would mean we have to sacrifice the almighty m rating!” so the kiddies can play and we make more money!"(despite kids buying the game anyway). In conclusion I have just made about 600 enemies, and so fine. Their entitled.to their opinions and preferences and so am I.

Games are supposed to grow over time, not shrink. Saying Halo 5 is fine because it’s bigger than CE is a joke. Why don’t you make the exact same comparison to 3, Reach, or 4? It’s because all of those games put Halo 5 to shame, right?
I completely disagree. There are still many, many modes and features that are still missing, and I doubt we are going to be getting all of them.
I’m really hoping that Memories of Reach brings more gametypes than just infection. If they never add V.I.P., Juggernaut, One Flag/One Bomb, Stockpile, Headhunter, etc, I’m going to be very, very, disappointed with 343.

Yeah I’ve seen some people on YouTube who said that they’re still trying to get halo 5.
