343i do you even put any real thought into challenges

Who or what team are in charge of these challenges in Halo infinite because some are ridiculous…

Why set a challenge that can only be completed by sheer LUCK!!

Who ever is in charge has never ever experienced Halo multiplayer before and its so obvious that it’s embarrassing.

I’ve got a challenge now and bloody hell let’s talk about it

Power Company
Shock a set of “4” or more!!! Enemy spartans with a “single” chain in PVP

I mean…its just…this person who thought of this has never played halo before. So let’s break down this ridiculous challenge. The only shock weapons in this game are the
Disruptor - and there’s no way that weapon is doing this.
The Shock rifle - Maybe it’s a long shot… literally!
Dynamo grenade - is probably the only way really.

Now how often these weapons spawn and what map. What are the chances of having 4 or more enemys stand in one spot and not only that you have to get a chain medal. Now did you read that!! The only way to get this medal is to get a kill using a electric weapon and they have to die by conductive energy!!!

I got this medal and the highest kill count was 2 enemys and that was again sheer luck.

I’m no expert but anyone can see that its just impossible. The only way your getting that is by Luck no matter how good you are at the game.

343 it’s embarrassing that you think these are “Challenges” bloody hell learn your own game lol

I actually found the shocking one to be relatively quick and easy. Play a match of Stronghold, grab the shock grenades, and lob them into an enemy controlled point. 8 times out of 10 I get it.

And when you completed it 24h before the reset, you gotta win 17 PVP matches. gl mate

That’s what I mean these challenges have to be done in a certain way. Cant just be any match. Strongholds. Not only does more than one enemy have to be I a zone and you happing to have dynamo grenades. I’m getting tired of playing the game a certain way and seeing everyone else doing the same all the time because its the only way to level up and get points. Thanks for the tip but I know it’s down to luck big time

The challenges are designed so you have to grind the game 12+ hours per week. Now with the daily challenge update, they want you to play every day.

Lots of thought goes into any and all systems tied to monetization. They put annoying challenges in the game on purpose so that players will get frustrated and use challenge swaps, which are conveniently available for purchase with real money.

Free to play games are often designed this way - devs want to find a way to create problems for the player that are just frustrating enough that you will spend money to solve them, but not so frustrating that you go play something else.

Make no mistake: everything bad about monetization, customization, and progression has been carefully thought out by 343 to take aim at your wallets with the above dynamic in mind.

It is down to luck, you’re right. I do agree the rotation needs to be tweaked. I played one game of oddball in the last three days. It so happened I had the challenge to play 1 game of oddball and then got it a few games later.

they had imaginative ones but the community threw a fit about how hard they were. I think they are pretty good right now.
