343i Did Some Good Things, and Some Bad.

That is the bottom line, some things 343i added are welcoming additions to the franchise (The narrative), some are great concepts but need improvments (Join-in-Progress), and some ended up in failure (Progression system). Point is, 343i CAN learn from this when making Halo 5. The question is, will they?

I thought Halo 4 was going to be the life or death of this franchise, I now realize that it lies in the hands of Halo 5.

But please, don’t be overdramatic over this. Like the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy, it’s ok to think of anyone of the movies as your favorite, simply because they are at different tones and subjects while all retaining a high level of quality. Same goes for the Halo saga.

Either they start everyone out equally like the old Halo ways or the game will get ripped. It’s as simple as that.

Multiplayer is the most important part of Halo.

Actually, I beg to differ. One of the main reasons that I play halo over other games, such as Call of Duty, is because the story is far more in-depth and the campaign is so much more gripping. I don’t think that what you’re saying is wrong. Halo’s multiplayer is important. But to say that it’s the MOST important part of Halo is, quite frankly, untrue. Having only played Halo 2 yesterday, I can say that the lack of multiplayer was actually great. It meant I could enjoy Halo as a continuing story, rather than a tournament for fighting 12 year old kids…
