it was fun from our end but from the perspective of the guy who had to sort all those emails and requests it was probably a nightmare. I even remember a kid lying about his brother gettin killed in Iraq to Bungie to get recon to “honor his memory” and when they called him on it he tried to bribe them! It’s a cool idea but a bad idea.
TMI kid TMI, but yes it would be nice for armor that can be achieved on the higher ranks, if the level cap is 100 or what not

Yeah, why not. They did it in Reach with the GRD helmet, but they didn’t put it in the final builds of maps. Only internal builds of maps.
I do think they should have something that sets them out from the rest, even if it’s just an armor skin.
Theyll probably just do something like… have their own “Golden Guns” or something stupid like that.
Everyone and their ma would want it, and ask questions about it like “ZOMG HAO CN I GET TEH G0LD GUN!!! PLZZZZZZZZ TELL M3H, 0R 1 WILL NEVR PL4Y DIS GAEM AGAN!!!1!!”
And everyone will end up getting it in the end.

NO THEY SHOULDN’T. Having something like recon in halo 4 would be bad. There shouldn’t be armor that one person or group should have other another it lacks equality which is why I don’t really care for the multiple super store / online stores giving away special armor. Its not as bad as in the old days of Halo 3 because the armor in Halo 4 blows in my opinion so I just went with the one I hated least and went to best buy for the Raptor skin, seriously they could put raptor on a turd and I would buy it.

It will just be a repeat of September 2007 when Recon was discovered.

When did that happen? lol. I remember in the summer of 2009 on Bungie Day I won recon armor. Best. Feeling. Ever. Then everyone wanted to be my freind and I got spammed with messages

For everyone who can actually remember the objective side of recon it distorted the community into a small enclave of the entitled and the sea of wannabes who wanted a part of the exclusivity (in a greater ocean of people who just couldn’t give a -Yoink- but we’re not concerned with them here.) It was like the worst club you can possibly go to, maybe it’s serviceable in all other respects but the mere fact that you have a VIP section skews the psychology of everyone in the room. They have to get in, or else they’re nobody which is what you expect from any situation where you create two arbitrary groups with one receiving an even more arbitrary “special” label.
It just doesn’t work with our species because it plays in the worst possible way to our group dynamics. 343 had better steer clear of anything of the sort or else I will be writing a great many many thesis papers (to the great pain of this very forum) on the subject because I’m damn well prepared to.
For the sake of everyone here, 343, don’t make me do it. Just give everyone the content you’ve worked so hard on so it can do the most good for the most people.
In all honesty I wouldn’t mind them having their own exclusive armour/skin/whatever. If they decide to do that, then i’m sure they know the storm they’re calling on themselves, you couldn’t hide it in Halo 3. However to the ‘mature’ side of the community, it’s a sign that it’s a 343 employee, and im sure that like Bungie they would reward whatever it is to those who have done something to stand out above the rest. I mean, you might be jelly, but so long as your not the person who is screaming till they get it, you know that there is a chance you could get it for being the first person to snipe yourself or to be killed by a cone or whatever the first people to be rewarded it did.

Resolution?343i armor is a very simple variant of (SAID) armor…How SImple?Just a lttle small add on on it …so that not a lot of people would notice.
What about armour which becomes unlocked if your k/d or BPR is high enough?
I also think recon should be replaced with a new legendary armour.
Nameplate? Yes. Armor? No.
