What is the problem created by people making their own thread posts? Does it really make things that difficult for 343i? Seems like they’re just trying to make the problem not look as big as it is. If it were such a big deal to them, they would come out and say something. 343i needs to respond and having many this many posts shows that, but they want to be silent and force things down the throats of their base community. We can’t even discuss the moderation decisions? Why is that?
people are more likely to read new posts then take the time to read through 22+ pages. to the Mods defense A LOT of the newer threads are closely tied to existing ones and most are not productive which again, goes against forum rules

343 took CCP money…was only a matter of time before this happened
The mods are doing a great job. Keep all the diatribe in the same thread(s). It’s much easier to read and keep track of the conversation. There is no censorship here.
It doesn’t make things difficult, but 10+ threads on the same subject clogs up the forum and is no more than spam. It is much easier to have one megathread.

I agree with you. I’m also thinking there needs to be a better way for people to express their concern with something without making a similar thread or commenting on one that feels like will be read by no one other than those who happen to be on the same page of the thread. Just because a new thread contains a subject similar to another doesn’t mean its particularly unproductive. If 343i really cared, I don’t see it as difficult to go through the pages of threads as well as new threads altogether. It seems like they just don’t want to be bothered to put much effort into going through the forum. They need to be active and list what issues they are aware of in a post of their own at least.

Not discussing moderator decisions is a common forum rule, that’s not even exclusive to Waypoint.
-
We funnel similar threads into one place so it’s easier for 343 to find feedback on the topic.
-
It’s also so the forum doesn’t get bogged down with 700 threads all saying the same thing.
BONUS: It’s not censorship, you can still see whatever is written. If we really wanted to hide posts we’d just delete them.
