Cortana and Cheif have been in halo since CE. They were also the main characters in the entire original trilogy, along with the Arbiter who also was not featured in halo 4 (go figure).
Is the monk chant in? Do you mind telling me where? I waited at the main menu for a good 10 minutes and didnt hear the theme at all. It shouldnt be that hard to find a little nastolgic music like this.
The file browser doesnt work, and there were several bad glitches in the game that 343i are patching as we speak instead of back in October before it was released.

But to me, Halo has always been a story first and foremost. Halo is one of those lucky franchises to have an amazing story AND multiplayer, but it was a story before anything else, and still is. Say what you want about multiplayer, but 343i can craft good fiction.

I thought 4’s story was pretty bland and predictable. None of the games really tell the story well, but the books are pretty good.

You speak of the books like you’ve read them. Provided you’ve read the Forerunner Trilogy, it probably was easier to guess what was going to happen in game, no doubt. I read them also, I still liked the campaign.

Johnson hardly played any major role in Halo CE. Cheif and Cortana were the main characters of that game.

Your poll question sucks! I had to vote yes they care because it is more true than the Microsoft only caring about money! I type this sitting in a lobby with 3 other friends for 10 minutes straight. Cortana was never gonna make it too much further. She was dead the second they broke off from the rest of the ship. You might not understand the story. Other than that yeah am all for what you are saying.
The MP doesn’t make sense. I had a game with 28 kills 15 assists and no deaths in BTB. We lost. My friend joined halfway through on the other team and scored 1000xp more than myself. He had 7 kills and 5 deaths. This game doesn’t make sense and is broken! Look at my file share to see videos of what they need to fix. JIP and a ghost with no one in it!
