I’m okay with a closed beta. But is it to much to ask for a demo? Don’t want to sound like I’m complaining or anything, I’m not. It’s just back before Battlefield 3 came out they released a beta and it got me pumped for the game. I would like to see a campaign demo (possibly the one at E3?) to be released 2 weeks -10 days before official release. Anyways getting off for the night. Bye.
A demo is supposed to show you enough to convince you to buy it. I’m pretty sure everybody, even the people who are calling for the blood of Halo, will be buying this game regardless.
a demo about anything in Halo 4 released a few weeks before the game would be very nice. the E3 demo would probably be the best demo for Halo 4.
demo is short for demonstration, videos can be demonstrations, so therefore the gameplay footage of the game counts as a demonstration (demo) so in other words we already got a demo for Halo 4

Not too bad of an idea, but I doubt 343 Industries will carry it out. See, Halo is considered a “tripple-A” franchise, and as such people will be willing to buy it just because it has Halo on the box. Additionally, 343 have already released content and it has received a positive reception from us. So I really think there is no need for a demo.
How about a Forge demo? One of the 3 areas, single player only, so we can play in the sandbox before the rest of the park opens and all the annoying kids show up. 
Its not going to happen. 343i has confirmed this numerous times including at RTX yesterday.

positive??? I still have a few major problems with Halo 4 that havent been adressed yet…
I would love to just play those 3 maps for one day …
But its not going to happen 
The battlefield 3 beta turned some people off from the game because people though that beta = final game.
Halo doesn’t need demos.
Not before release. They said they don’t have enough resources to concentrate on demo/beta right now.
And the E3 demo is way too short. It’s like 2 minutes of gameplay without sightseeing.

True… but I’m sure even the most die hard so called “competitive” player that spends hours whining about 4 on these forums no doubt will buy the game immediately…
