I would like to highlight something that others have not noticed to do yet. Besides the obvious player decrease in the last month or so.
I would like to accuse 343i of being so ashamed of halo 4 that the reason they will not fix the player counter on reach is because they do not want the community to see that there is probably almost more people playing reach than H4
Not that i need to know anyway as playing almost every day there is barely a wait time in finding games.
Im expecting the usual from the halo 4 lovers, but christmas, exams/finals, and some people were expecting the world to end on the 21st so they sold their copy for food to horden blah blah. Yesterday peaked at 91,000.
But i dont care ive been long gone i returned for the crimson achievements and havent been back since and im pretty sure im still an SR49 and before you say “while are you on the forums then” i still play halo games and like to observe these forums as well as BF and COD and listen to ALL the complaints from both sides and see to see how the cummunity react to these different games over time and i like to see how the H4 is going without wasting valuable photons by putting my disc in.
R.I.P Halo fun memories over the last 11 years now onto a new game.

Matchmaking looks fun… But pretty pointless. Not inticed to leave Reach yet
Forge looks pretty, but no precision tools? Reach wins again?
Less custom games options than Reach? Damn… Guess I have to wait
It looks like the only thing H4 has to offer is pretty colors and new campaign… I’ll be playing Reach and Halo 3 till h4 has somthing worth $60, preferably something better than reach.

The Halo 4 lovers are full of excuses as to why the exodus. Put simply everyones beloved arena shooter is now a class based shooter and no one likes it.

Halo has lost its beautiful simplicity and fun factor since Halo 2-3 online. The few things that had Reach going for it, were stripped away in Halo 4. I’m not sure if 343 will be duping anymore wise halo fans in the future.
You’ll probably get to customize boot lace colors and spend MS points for extra ammo or perks. 343 should shut this site down and anything they do thats halo related.

It’s true. Every new Halo game is the “worst” by default. People are depressingly predictable. Long ago on the Reach forum, before Halo 4 was even released, there was a funny and prophetic topic entitled “Halo 4 is terrible, I’m going back to Reach” in response to the countless “Reach is terrible, I’m going back to Halo 3” topics.
You know many years the Halo 3 counter has been broken for? Theres still people playing it. Reachs counter is broken now too, theres still people playing that. It isn’t 343 fault, it’s called Halo titles age and so do the mechanics, they break. The counter being broken has nothing to do with 343. When will people quit making useless -Yoink- threads, I wonder…

But nothing - more people play this than were playing Reach a few months ago. With all these forum goers “leaving Halo 4” then obviously the Halo population count is rising. Consider your own OP argument that you bet there are as many people playing Reach as Halo 4 at any given time. That would mean that there are upwards of 200K people playing Halo at peak times - a hell of a lot more players than there were only a few months ago. Obviously someone that focuses only on numbers must admit Halo 4 has successfully increased the number of Halo players.

I will surely not be saying that. Unless of course Halo 5 is even worse than Halo 4 which it probably will be so actually I probably will be saying that halo 4 was better than Halo 5 BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN HALO 4 WAS GOOD JUST BECAUSE I SAY IT WAS BETTER THAN HALO 5.

If there are 100k people playing Halo 4 and you think there are just as many people playing Reach as there are playing Halo 4, then you obviously believe there are over 200k people playing Halo multiplayer at peak times. Consider that a few months ago maybe half this number were on Reach/3 then obviously Halo 4 has at least doubled the population of Halo games. Pretty good for “a garbage game than nobody likes” huh…

People who defend such horrible games crack me up. Both of you are arguing about Halo Reach and Halo 4 the two worst titles in the franchise. Just stop.
