Those of us down under need help from our American and European friends. Despite repeated posts and attempts to get 343s attention, we have received no acknowledgement towards the issue… We desperately need some visibility on this! Please help us!
Halo 5 has region locking set in place - this has been fantastic for smooth and lagless gameplay. however, we have a serious problem. The population in most playlists is not high enough to sustain efficient matchmaking, this is resulting in long search times and ‘unable to match’ errors.
What does this mean?
Well. Those of us in AUS/NZ have not been able to play Warzone Assault for over two weeks now. Warzone only finds matches from 1-11pm, and most other playlists (once your placement matches have been completed) fail to matchmake during off-peak hours. Its getting to the point where we spend more time searching for games than actually playing them, we’re being restricted to only playing halo at peak hours of the day. This is very problematic and is driving players away.
What we need:
First off. Some acknowledgement from 343i would be a great start.
Secondly. A prefer good connection option needs to be implemented ASAP, that way, when there aren’t enough players online we can have the option to matchmake with other regions. I’d rather play with lag than not play at all.
I really hope to get some visibility on this before its too late. This game will not survive down here unless we be heard.
